What is this person supposed to be? A suppressed Iraqi woman whom we've enabled to vote for the first time? No, probably not. But then, what?

I swear the more I read about how the media really operates the more I think that if the Japanese had attacked us in December 1940 instead of 1941, the press would have counseled 'strongly' against war with Germany, that we needed to focus on the Japanese threat, blah, blah, blah.
Why? Because Uncle Joe was an ally of Hitler in 1940: if he had asked Cronkite to open his fly with tongue, I'm sure ole Walter would have smacked his lips in anticipation.
To the American press our constitutional Republic means nothing in comparison to slanting the news for the cause of socialist despotism and the victory of their favored leftist tyrants.
The Left and the Presstitutes just don't get it. To most Americans Abu Grahib just ain't that bad - considering what the other side does to their prisoners. Oh well, gives 'em something to do I guess.

It really makes you wonder how much these media beasts got away with in Vietnam, before there was an internet to call them out on it.
I wonder how the media would react to a reenactment of Nick Bergs beheading? Somehow I doubt they would gather around for a photo op.

That's either David Gregory of NBC, or Terry Moran of ABC. His press credentials are hanging around his neck. They take turns changing in the news van.
If it could be arranged for one of their own (a reporter) to play the part of Nick, and a real knife was used, they'd show up. No problem at all getting "newsies" interested in getting in on a snuff film.
I have wondered that myself many times. I believe that history would now show a different ending and millions would have survived despite the agenda of Hanoi Jane and John.
The have tried the same tactic on Iraq and so far they have failed. What is amazing is they're to stupid to understand why. We have arrived and we will not be silenced by the anti-American liberal media.
