Iraq should give Syria an ultimatum.
What Syria is doing is an act of war.
Supply the Iraq soldiers with top notch weapons and make the Syrians wish they never stepped foot inside of Iraq.
Full story.
The murdering cowards operating in Iraq won't stop operations there if Syria gets overthrown.
Still worth doing it though. :')
This policy by Assad has a twofold purpose. Number one, it delays the US exit from Iraq, and therefore delays the US entrance into Syria. Number two, it keeps the anti-Baathists busy fighting someone besides Assad.
By election time 2006, US involvement in Iraq will be greatly reduced, and Syria will be on the UN hit list. GWB and the US have won that struggle of wills (for the next while anyway).

better yet.... free driving licenses, voting rights, equal pay and equal say
We will starve terrorists of funding, turn them one against another, drive them from place to place, until there is no refuge or no rest. And we will pursue nations that provide aid or safe haven to terrorism. Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists. (Applause.) From this day forward, any nation that continues to harbor or support terrorism will be regarded by the United States as a hostile regime.
NEVER FORGET
20 km denial zone and dont bother us!
And what if we decide to exit Iraq by going through Syria? The trip home would be much more direct if we could pick them up from a Mediterranean port like Latakia.
Never, they think that they all are ruled by the Koran.
What an excellent idea. How about dropping some copies of Eddie Murphy talking about women who marry rich and take half after the divorce. "I want half Eddie" LOL
We think alike. :') And of course, some of the US armed forces could leave via the eastern border, through Iran.
