No surprise. It seemed obvious...really bad acting.

Does that include telling local politicians to fake crying?

Sounds like an attempt to compete with FOX NEWS. They might try getting folks who actually care about issues that matter. (Liberals get indignant over all sorts of stupid issues but it's hardly going to get them ratings if they have some blonde wannabe anchor crying that she saw someone eat meat.)

I can imagine how Juan Williams might take that advice:
"I am angry! All my talking points are worthless!! This president out thinks the Democrats at every turn, and I have had it! We need to impeach this guy before the Left completely implodes!!! {how'm I doing? Want me to turn up the anger another notch?"

They mean-- be more like FOX! (currently tripling CNN ratings and challenging CBS in the mornings)

CNN: The most trusted name in news.
Yah, right!
I trust them completely.
I trust them to lie, prevaricate, fabricate, obfuscate, calumniate, defame, detract, disinform, falsify, misrepresent, deceive, delude, dissemble, equivocate, and generally engage in any imaginable form of dishonesty.

That Phil Maher puke did the same thing but did it right on his show ... trying to get some Nwalins bureaucrat to cuss out Bush. Literally told him what words to use.
Sheesh! Surely the public can see through this.

Oh no !!!
Next, you'll be telling me the Jefferson Parish President was faking it when he cried on Meet the Press last week.
[Oh, yeh, reports later in the week revealed that the nursing home administrator refused evac assistance -- twice. JPP apparently forgot that detail before his TV crying debut.]

This is actually a capital offense in journalism. The News does not make the news - it reports it. This should be as damaging to CNN as a journalist who makes up stories. When you invite someone on to talk and then they get artificially angry, the story has been modified. This is slime. It is evil. This is news Michael Moore-style. We cannot depend on any MSM information if it is tainted this way, and as much as we deride their bias at times, I still consider this a bad thing. If Fox News ever does this, I'll call for heads. I love Britt Hume, but if he ever did something like this I'd exect him to be fired.

This is not surprising.
Consider that when news is breaking and being fed live, CNN can not editorialize by ommission or word.
A black looter in the water with a plasma TV is a black looting in the water with a plasma TV.
A coastie rescuing a dog is a coastie rescuing a dog.
This is just another way they are trying to spin left.
"Shocked shocked I say!"
