London – An Iranian military source has disclosed an initiative on behalf of 'Al Quds Corps', which is affiliated to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, to reinforce its relations with 'Ansar Al Islam Organization' in Iraqi Kurdistan and the Qa'idat Al Jihad Fi Bilad Al Rafidain (The Base of Jihad in the Land of the Two Rivers) in the center and south of Iraq.

The Iranian officer, who is a former colonel in 'Al Quds Corps' told Al Sharq Al Awsat that officials from the Revolutionary Guard have recently me[t] with leaders of Ansar Al Islam and the Jihad organizations in Ramadan headquarters near the Iranian-Iraqi borders. They discussed the acceleration of military operations against the British forces in the south of Iraq. He added that the commander of a commando group in "Badr Corps' which is affiliated to the supreme Council of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq has previously received instructions from the command of 'Badr Corps' stating the acceleration of attacks targeting British militants. The source connected between the last attacks against the British forces, and the new Iranian military strategy and the competent security authorities for the affairs of the Kurds. There were several indications that the Kurdish-Iranian parties have received aids from Kurds in Iraq.

Ok.. do it folks... it will give the Brits an actual refresher of their counter attack and defensive skills.

I remember one time when Britain's Black Watch used boyonets to counter attack Sadr's forces in Najaf... the moozies ran away for fear of certain death.

"Suggestions?"

Seeing as how this is coming from an Iranian source, step one would be for our side to acknowledge or refute it. There are Iranian insurgents in Iraq, no doubt, but the number of Iranian intel operatives in Iraq and their logistical support for the insurgency is more tangible concern concern for our troops there.

This could be a good thing in the long run for Iraq. The Iraqis are strongly nationalistic, and Iran is not commonly viewed with kindness, and even less so with the support from Iran for the foreign terrorists.

An overt military invasion on Iraqi sovereignty might instigate Iraqis to pull together more solidly politically.

Let the Iraqi government put the Iranians on public display, along with documents and testimony from those captured.

Who could believe a new Iraq would attack Iran, and possibly Syria as well? They will say they are American puppets. Or Israeli puppets.

Let them talk, I suppose, but I'd worry for the people of Iraq more than anything.

MEMRI.org has some videos of insurgents confessing... If the videos are out of date, check out the transcripts.

We know that Iran and Syria are both involved with the dirty terrorist in Iraq.So far the governments of Britain and The US haven't retaliated against either of them.I would like to see things mysteriously blowing up in both places.A couple of unexplained explosions in the vicinity of the mullahs or Assad would be nice.
