British sailors forced into Iranian waters: defence minister -- LONDON (AFP) Jun 30, 2004 -- Eight British servicemen captured by Iran after their boats supposedly strayed into Iranian waters were "forcibly escorted" across the national boundary from Iraq, Britain's defence minister said on Wednesday.

They discussed the acceleration of military operations against the British forces in the south of Iraq.

Ok.. do it folks... it will give the Brits an actual refresher of their counter attack and defensive skills.

I remember one time when Britain's Black Watch used boyonets to counter attack Sadr's forces in Najaf... the moozies ran away for fear of certain death.

This could be a good thing in the long run for Iraq. The Iraqis are strongly nationalistic, and Iran is not commonly viewed with kindness, and even less so with the support from Iran for the foreign terrorists.

An overt military invasion on Iraqi sovereignty might instigate Iraqis to pull together more solidly politically.
