President Bush Job Approval at 48%
Saturday September 10, 2005--Forty-eight percent (48%) of American adults now approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President.
Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove.
Eighty-four percent (84%) of Republicans now give the President their Approval. That positive assessment is shared by 20% of Democrats and 38% of those not affiliated with either major party.
In the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, consumer confidence fell to its lowest level in more than two years. It has recovered somewhat and is now approaching pre-Katrina levels.
Seventy-nine percent (79%) of Americans agree with the President on the importance of succeeding in Iraq. However, just 48% believe success is likely.

I trust Rasmussen more than the AP poll...
i wonder what W's numbers are in Iraq?
Polls are the sugar cereal of American journalism.
check out the links on RaZZies web page link and that tells you he can't be trusted.
Rasmussen has always been the most accurate for elections
Look at several polls to try and get a feeling for the pattern. The pattern to me is that this has been a terrible summer for the President, but things will turn around.
No sheet! I bet they're somewhere around 98%. 65% if you include the terrorsits that are sneeking in from Iran and Syria.
The MSM are arrogant enought to think we'll buy it, too!
Disapproving Bush DOES NOT MEAN you want a liberal in office.
Can't stress that enough. Nor can polsters stress it at all, for obvious reasons.
I predicted the GW Bush win in 2000, the Pubbie gains in 2002, the GW Bush win in 2004, and am predicting the Pubbies will pickup both Senate and House seats in 2006, and they will win the White House in 2008, and hold it for eight years. Prez will probably be Rudy Guillani. He will destroy Hillary Clinton if she runs. You all probably think I am nuts, but I only ask that you all read the tea leaves that are floating above the noise that the MSM and "Traitor/Treason" Democrat Party are ranting and raving about. One only needs to study the past to predict the future!!! The Dems are going nowhere but down!!!
If you go to there web site and click on "How did we do? Rasmussen poll results vs election results" you can see how accurate they were
I used to approve of Bush's presidency, but his inaction in the face of Nagin's assault on the citizens of New Orleans is giving me doubts.
You are exactly right. The past has shown that often it is because they don't think the president is tough enough.
no the ones for bush has to go, hillary for pres, on the left and then there's one one the left; something about just pretend it's ok nonribbon-ribbons
Speaking of Sugar Smacks, I just heard on the radio that Newsweek took a poll and the President's job approval rating was at 38%, and that 52% don't trust him handling a disaster. It just makes you wonder what types of questions they asked and who they talked to.
WOW!!! So Bush's Approval rating is HIGHER THAN THE 43% OF THE VOTE THAT BILL CLINTON GOT TO BE ELECTED!!!!
And the CON ARTIST NEWS PROPAGANDA MACHINE OF THE LEFT can't stand it that Bush doesn't go below 45%...
With the RELENTLESS Goebbles-style National SOCIALIST propaganda being constantly spewed from the sewers of the Alphabet Soup media organizations, that is an AMAZING approval rating.
With all the LIES from the left, Bush is absolutely doing astoundingly well!!!
GO GET'EM BUSH!

I thought I heard Fox and friends say that he was at 38% today.
Bush is NOT going to be negatively affected by Katrina in the long term... The DEMOnRATS are TOAST! The story is SLOWLY getting out about the propaganda from the left and the media. And I'm working on a "smoking gun" peice that's going to be VERY interesting!
KATRINA and the MEDIA COVER-UP by FORGING STORIES to destroy America...
