Except that someone might try to totally discredit the story by pointing out a number of buses that is several times higher than the real total. You know how the MSM can blow up one point all out of proportion in order to deflect attention to the real story. The Washington Times should have gotten the real number from the school district. With the number of buses they had, a few round trips to other cities would have gotten everone out if the evacuation orders had been given 48 hours ahead of land fall.
If it was 1,5,or 5,000 it makes no difference.
The so-called MSM will say whatever they want to say.
So what? Why do they matter?
Two thousand buss number comes not from fish bowl city proper, but within greater NO metropolitan area, all surrounding parrishs et al. Gov Blanco commandeered every buss in LA once the warm brown matter hit the rotating blades.
Stitch in time saves nine, Nagin said kiss mine. I ain't gonna act like a leader and get things going several days early just because a possible cat 5 storm has NO in the cross hairs.
We keep hearing about the school buses. But doesn't New Orleans have a mass transit system like other big cities? I have lived in Cleveland, Ohio and Houston, Texas both cities have them so it would follow so does New Orleans. How many more buses could have been utilized there?
