Outrageous Reuters Bias ["Bush admin's botched plan left New Orleans at mercy of Katrina"]
Little Green Footballs ^ | September 4, 2005

Posted on 09/04/2005 5:59:48 PM PDT by John Jorsett

The first to email about the latest outrage from Reuters was Banagor, who noticed it in his RSS reader, and then saw Reuters do a quick edit job.

But the story is still online at the Reuters web site, and you won’t believe the first paragraph (or maybe you will). Remember, this is a news story, not an op-ed: New Orleans collects dead as officials dodge blame.

NEW ORLEANS (Reuters) - New Orleans began the gruesome task of collecting its thousands of dead on Sunday as the Bush administration tried to save face after its botched rescue plans left the city at the mercy of Hurricane Katrina.

But they want us to believe they have no bias against the President.

What a bunch of lying BS. They know better too, that is the worse part of all. They know how this government works, or at least they should. The power is with the state first.

If the media believes leaders should be held responsible then they are proving that Democrats do not deserve to be called leaders.

ummm . . . this would be easy to rewrite with truth and facts.

The Witt spin machine of lies is in full swing, al-Rooters is the vehicle. Blanco thinks if she can get some stories in the leftist-MSM it will be all better.

The facts will come out and after "Katrina", maybe the next one will hit Reuters Headquarters and it will be hurricane "Latrina".

I've been a Reuters user for years, but I'm done now.

This is thoroughly disgusting.

I don't need these uneducated swine delivering my 'news.' Frankly, they wouldn't know a story if it bit them. Even more frankly, they can't separate fact from their own fantasy.

And there's enough delerium in filmic media.

The Bush Administration has saved 17,000 people so far. Many of these people would not have needed saving if they had competent local and state leaders.

The old established/liberal/socialist media is America's most ruthless, relentless, and destructive enemy.

I was just watching a live interview by a FOX info-babe with the black mayor of Baton Rouge. She says to him, “I hear you have a very important person to visit tomorrow, tell us about it.” Mayor: “Oh yes, John Travolta is coming tomorrow to inspect the refugees.” “No,” says the interviewer, “It’s somebody bigger than that!” The mayor blushes and apologized as he answers, “Oh, of course, Oprah is coming tomorrow.” “No,” repeated the pretty blond, “Somebody bigger than that! The President is coming tomorrow!!” “Oh yeah,” the mayor quietly says “ Yeah, the president is coming…”

Need I say more?

Did Dan Rather get a job there? It sounds pretty 'fake but accurate.'
