I disagree with you re his grandstanding. He is showing you the real news of the day whether you like it or not. If you prefer to have your news "sanitized" you can probably find what you want over on some other channel. Dead bodies - with nowhere to take them, unable to bury them, no refrigeration to keep them - - yes, that IS news, here in America. The priorities are to take care of the living.

"He is showing you the real news of the day." I don't have a problem with him or anyone else showing reality but yesterday (or was it the day before) he was on a rant about "no water, no water" while the camera was showing shots of people right behind him taking hits out of Gatorade bottles.
It was pretty shameful disaster hype.
