Wow. Did anybody else hear Laura Flanders (Air America, Sunday evening)?
I was tasting my scallop sauce and nearly spit it 10 feet in the air as I heard her blame Pres Bush for the hurricane.
Well, not exactly. What she exactly blamed Bush for was genocide of the blacks in New Orleans.
Her (ha ha) logic: New Orleans is a poor city. Only the well off could evacuate. The poor were left to die. The blacks are the poor in New Orleans. They have been set up to drown and be washed into the sea. Drowning blacks when whites got out equal genocide.
AND NO, I'M NOT KIDDING. She actually said this. (Not verbatim, but that's the gist of it.)
Anyone else ever hear this nutjob's program? Beyond bizarre. Air America is a train wreck.

I didn't hear her - I don't listen to talk radio, much less Air America. I don't even know if AAR is available in my area to begin with. But I have seen similar sentiments over at the DUmp. They are so consumed with hatred for Bush that they will ignore all sense and reason to blame this on him.

Listening to Air America are we. That could get you banned here. Maybe you could use the same excuse as those obsessed with pornography. You need to see it (listen to it) so you know what they are doing and saying.
I love the A&E series "Airline." Last night this drunken dolt got banned from a Southwest flight and said this kind of thing will go on as long as we have George Bush. Un huh. He continued rambling incoherently. At least he could blame his lunatic babbling on booze. What's Air America's excuse?

Hah. I listened for a short while yesterday. Laura Ingrahams voice got to me after a bit. Every other station was discussing the hurricane and the Lib/Com scum were discussing the Plame thing. I wanted to call in and ask how the Socks Berger investigation was proceeding, but my puke level got too high.
It's almost always interesting to hear the take your enemies have on such stuff.

Shamelessly stealing another FReeper's take on the situation ... they would have no problem had Robert Byrd been their Senator! Tell the folks in LA that WV has their shelter and evac money and that they have a claim on the state of WV to take in their huddled masses.
