BRUNSWICK, Maine The woman leading protests against President Bush's conduct of the Iraq war will protest a Blue Angels air show in Brunswick, Maine, next month.
Bruce Gagnon (GAHNG'-yuhn) of Maine Veterans for Peace says Cindy Sheehan will be the featured guest at a protest outside the Brunswick Naval Air Station on September tenth.
Sheehan, whose son Casey died in Iraq, camped outside the president's Central Texas ranch a month ago to demand a meeting with him. The Vacaville, California, woman hasn't gotten an audience, but she attracted a lot of support. She's promised to carry her protest to Washington and beyond after Bush goes back to work.
Bush has said he sympathizes with Sheehan's loss, but thinks it would dishonor the soldiers who gave their lives in Iraq to pull out before the job is done.
It seems to me that the Sheehadi's are itching for a physical fight..by going to protest the Blue Angels, they will be putting themselves in harms way..there are a LOT of TRUE Americans that go to those shows that will not appreciate the sideshow..the confrontation didn't happen in Crawford, although I betcha it was expected, so the next best thing the handlers came up with was to keep pushing until it DOES happen..then the MSM will point the finger at the right and blame them for starting it..IMHO
I like it, I like it very much. I will use it, if I may.
They are generally airframes at the end of their useful service life... highly unlikely.
Andy Warhol called, Cindy. You've exceeded your minutes.
Do you (or does anyone else) remember that nutty kindergarten teacher out in Seattle that had the kids in her class write anti-war letters to the Blue Angels? She hyped the kids full of erroneous ideas and then had them send letters like "Dear Blue Angels, please don't go to war and kill people." Riiiiiight.... (rolling eyes at the lack of grasp on basic facts)
Either way, I will be there to cheer for the Blue Angels (and everyone else) at the airshow at Pax River. Woo!
Casey was raised by his Father and Step-mother who have another son in the military. They are proud and humbled by the sacrifice that he made. They miss him awfully.
It wouldn't be worth the time and effort it would take. Easier to take other birds from other squadrons. Squadron used to tell us it would take six to eight weeks to get them combat ready.
I've been thinking the same thing! I'd love to see her make smarmy remarks about the catastrophe down along the Gulf!
hehe...since eatnig that ice cream would be so disagreeable, I would figure the winner should be punished ;)
Btw, is anyone listening to Laura Ingraham?
She's playing bites from some Sheehan interviews...What a ditz!
Then the Moonbatess doesn't really have a say in the matter...Sounds like she didn't want anything to do with Casey even when he was young. My opinion of Cindy was low, now it's just plain bottomed out.
Is Cindy a lesbian?
Yes. Lunatic licorice and Traitor's mint chip.
Although Cindy was his mother and in the same household, and tried to "raise" him along her anti-american lines...that upbringing did not take. He was influenced by others, apparently his father's parents and family, and he took an all-American tracts.
His sister indicated he always wanted to be a soldier and that he "actually believed that stuff". He was an altar boy, and eagle scout, and then joined the military (against his mother's wishes), re-upped at the end of four years (against his mother's wishes), volunteered for Iraq (against his mother's wishes), and then when he got there, volunteered for a hazardous rescue mission that he did not have to go on and was killed while heroically trying to help his comrades. He got a bronze star.
But...the truth is, his mother did care for him and raise him...he just didn't take hold of her anti-american beliefs.
As to Cindy herself...in addition to her disgusting and despicable beliefs and using her son's heroic death to further them...she is simply a sham and a liar as evidenced by the following pic and quote:
"If I truly was a media whore do you think I would like maybe get myself fixed up a little bit before I went on?" Quote and pic of Cindy Sheehan - August 24, 2005 |
Even with the MSM in their hip pockets, the Blue Angels fans will be armed with their own video recorders. Hopefully the organizers of this event will warn the good guys attending not to take their leftist bait.
"I'm just wondering when ESPN will have her on their pre-season football roundtable..."
they'll wait til the annual army-navy game.
"I believe the part about her not raising Casey has been shown to be a mistake. She nad her husband were married for 28 years. I believe the story of her not raising him originated on a radio talk show where there was confusion and a mistake about a different activist mother."
Correct. The mother in question whose son was raised by his father and stepmother was on Bill O'Reilly pretty much parroting Cindy. The father and stepmother came on the following night in support of their son, the military and U.S. actions in Iraq. They were classy and did not denigrate the mother but made it clear the the son was not raised with her views or values.
From bad to worse to positively INSANE. I pity her
I will stand corrected if this is the case. I heisitated to even mention it anyway as there are many fine people who didn't have contact with a parent or child as the child grew up.
I just thought it more relavant as she (Sheehan)dances on his grave.
Of course..."who is more Evil, Cindy?"
"Well, they are equally evil. They are the bloodiest organizations ever concieved by man."
