Keep your heads down Kansas FReepers!!!
See you guys in Oz!
Wont be in my neighborhood until the middle of the night. Not the best time for tornadoes. I would rather it be daytime so I can duck.
yeah...
tornadoes at night aren't good....
I hope they miss Smallville this time.
A family had 4 go through their farm field.
Incredible.
Amazing that the house only had minor damage and they were not hurt.
A family from my church, that is.
wow!!
That must have been a wild night....
The National Weather Service wouldn't call our storm a tornado because it appeared so suddenly that they weren't able to track it. (It wouldn't do to have the weather service be caught unawares, so they simply called it a major storm with "straight-line winds." /sarcasm) Our pictures show tree branches, lawn furniture and trash facing all 360-degrees. The 10-inch diameter maple tree in our front yard was nothing but an 8-foot tall toothpick. But it "wasn't" a tornado....
Hopefully the storms will pass you by. If you need to take shelter, you'll KNOW it--no matter what time of day or night.
