...Then-Manhattan U.S. Attorney Mary Jo White wrote the memo as she pleaded in vain with Deputy Attorney General Jamie Gorelick to tear down the wall between intelligence and prosecutors, a wall that went beyond legal requirements....
Justice honchos overruled White's plea— even though her team knew better than anyone else in law enforcement what the real risks were. White's team won a host of convictions — including Ramzi Yousef, the mastermind of the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993, and blind Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, who plotted to bomb landmarks like the Statue of Liberty.
Equally troubling is that the 9/11 Commission, charged with tracing the failure to stop 9/11, got White's stunning memo and several related documents— and deep-sixed all of them.
The commission's report skips lightly over the wall in three brief pages (out of 567). It makes no mention at all of White's passionate and prescient warnings. Yet warnings that went ignored are just what the commission was supposed to examine.
So it's hard to avoid the conclusion that the commission ignored White's memo because it was a potential embarrassment to the woman to whom it was addressed: commission member Jamie Gorelick....
White wrote the memo after her earlier pleas against the "wall" were rejected. She enlisted the help of her "Bomb II Team"....
They gave six pages of detailed reasons why it was a mistake to create too much of a wall between intelligence and prosecutions. White forwarded that analysis to Gorelick and added her own notes on the Clinton-era decision "to keep prosecutors in the dark about intelligence investigations...."
For instance, ...the FBI learned that two... future hijackers might have arrived... but didn't connect the dots.... [and] failed to see the significance of... arrested "20th hijacker" Zaccarias Moussaoui had taken flight lessons....

Jamie Gorelick's name should be made an epithet and a curse to use on enemies and foes. Her actions in the Clinton MisAdministration are nothing less than treason and she should be held responsible for the deaths of all the ones who perished in 9-11................................

This isn't surprizing in the least because the Clintoon crime family was always interested in padding their own nest and if National security got in the way. Well Sandy Berger's document shredding actions show how they responded.
But the thing that is really sick to me in this entire episode is after 9-11 and the horrible death of almost 3000 American citizens, the democrats stock the 9-11 Commission with Ben Veniste and Gorelick. What a charade that report and the actions of ALL the political parties involved should be exposed, if we had a functioning media perhaps that would happen.
As it stands all we have is a MSM which is more a mouthpiece and co-conspirator with the democrats than a independent investigator of the facts.
One would hope so! However the focus is still on Aruba and Sheehan - wouldn't you think Fox at least would be all over this? Sean is but mainly on his radio show. Rush is not quite there either, at least not with the hard questions. But We, The Pissed off Americans should go to the phones and call our representatives and senators to demand answers that were obviously covered up and demand that Jamie Gorelick, the Democratic Operative for the commission, be placed in the witness box!
Hmmm... I'm beginning to smell a scents of , coverup, malfeasance, dereliction of duty and democratic party body odor in this brew. Her Thighness WILL NOT be having a good day and WILL NOT be available for comment.

Remember that spectacle? Usually, the ones who are the guilty project it onto their enemies. It was HILLARY "who knew," and this is going to be clearer and clearer in the coming days. Her felonious husband was on TV yesterday spinning out of control that he tool UBL more seriously than Bush did. HHHMMMM . . . sounds a little nervous, doesn't he?
