I don't know at what stage the communication broke down.
Gorelick worked for Janet Reno and Clinton.
Gorelick was the architect and enforcer of the wall.
The wall prevented Able Danger from passing on any information to FBI or anyone else.
Yes, she insisted that the FBI not communicate their information to the CIA or anyone else, told them to drop it. This is what Weldon is saying -- we'll see what all comes out. I still think this guy could have a flight school tho.
"Did the Gorelick wall have something to do with this failure? I don't know at what stage the communication broke down."
That is the whole issue of things being discussed, brought to light. Her memos from 1995 etc., directing the Intel agencies not to share info with the FBI in regards to supposed US citizens and people with "green cards", is what the hallabaloo is about. Weldon and others are trying to make it clear that had not the Clintoon DoJ handed down rulings that tied the hands of agencies to share data across the board, Atta and three others may have been grabbed, based on stuff in the Able Danger reports, and therefore 9/11 may never have happened.
Think 1995 range. Do a search for the tons of articles recently posted here regarding 9/11 issues, Able Danger etc..
I know last week at least one group of articles showed documents Gorelick issued that showed dates in mid nineties.
