Another Airliner Crash Venezuela This Time. 152 On Board Nothing More Yet.
Hugo Chavez just announced on his communist TV station SUR that it is Bush's fault. He hints that US has begun the invasion of Venezuela
I hope you're being sarcastic. If not, Hugo's gone way off the deep end
bttt
Good grief!
Prayers for those on board and their families.
Above is (supposedly) sarcasm.
152 are "supposedly" dead.
Hugo became completely deranged a long long time ago. He hints on SUR that the cause of the crash is "very suspicious" and said that "the great Satan from the North may have had something to do with it". Where is the CIA when you need it?
Anyone have a idea what type aircraft it was (73, 75, A340, A320)?
Could be nothing. Could be everything.
I gotta take a shower!
Source? Are you watching him on SUR?
Are you being sarcastic or reporting real details? Please differentiate ASAP.
Airliner feared lost over Venezuela -authorities
Tue 16 Aug 2005 7:23 AM ET
CARACAS, Venezuela, Aug 16 (Reuters) - Venezuelan authorities said on Tuesday they had started searching for a passenger plane traveling from Panama that lost contact with air traffic control.
Col. Antonio Rivero told local television that the authorities had lost contact with the aircraft around 4 a.m. local time and that there had been reports of an explosion in the remote area near the Colombian border. It was not clear how many people were on the aircraft or which airline it belonged to.

I take it, from your handle, that you are a pilot. Did Hugo actually say those things? Or is this just speculation at this point?
I had Fox News on this AM, but wasn't really paying a lot of attention.
I thought I heard some bizarre story about the pilot of the other airline that crashed yesterday.
Something about not being able to find the pilot's body or the body of another individual, anybody hear the whole report?

I am being sarcastic but do not be surprised to see Chavez assailing Bush on SUR...he does that EVERY day.
You know our pal Hugo will find some way to blame the U.S.
What I heard on that this morning: That the pilot who was supposed to fly the jet that crashed near Athens refused to fly the plane. That pilot was replaced with a German pilot at the last minute. The body of the replacement pilot has not been found, neither has the body of one other passenger. This info was on one of the news nets this morning.
