Cindy Sheehan: Day Nine at Camp Casey (Now I know how Mickey Mouse feels at Disneyland)
yahoonews.com ^ | 8/15/05 | unknown

Posted on 08/15/2005 6:57:03 PM PDT by beyond the sea

The ninth day ended in the most awesome way. We were out at Camp Casey and it was sprinkling a little bit and it really looked like the rain was going to start pouring down anytime. We looked over into the next cow pasture and there was a full rainbow. Rainbows are supposedley God's sign of hope. When Casey was killed on 04/04/04, I thought that all of my hope was killed, too. Being involved in the peaceful occupation of Crawford and meeting hundreds of people from all over the world has given me so much hope for the future.

George Bush took a 2 hour bike ride on Saturday, and when he got back, he was asked how he could go for a two hour bike ride when he doesn't have time to meet with me, and he said: "I have to go on with my life." (Austin Statesman, August 14) WHAT!!!!!????? He has to get on with his life!!! I am so offended by that statement. Every person, war fan, or not, who has had a child killed in this mistake of an occupation should be highly offended by that remark. Who does he think he is? I wish I could EVER be able to get on with my life. Getting on with my life means a life without my dear, sweet boy.

I need to focus on the positive, though, and there is so much. I had so many amazing things happen today. I couldn't walk through Camp Casey or the Crawford Peace House today without hugging people and getting my picture taken. Now I know how Mickey Mouse feels at Disneyland.

"However, if George or anybody else thinks I am leaving before my mission is "accomplished" they have another think coming. I will stay the course. I will finish the mission. I will take no prisoners." --- just change the underwear now and then, Cindy, and adjust the straitjacket.

She feels like Mickey Mouse? Does she mean to say that she feels like a cartoon character with groupies not yet grown up who want to have their pictures taken with her? Does she feel like someone stuck in a stuffy costume who can't wait for her shift to end so someone can replace her? Inquiring minds want to know.

Don't forget this:

"By the way, we had about 7 counter protesters today and hundreds at Camp Casey...don't let the mainstream media say differently."

Peaceful occupation of Crawford?

Can't move around without getting her picture taken?

Deluded...pure deluded, sprinkled in with a whole lot of disgusting, despicable, anti-American and hateful behavior. This woman is sure enough going to end up reaping what she sows.

I'm sure if George Bush said "I like my french fries with ketchup," Ms. Sheehan and her MSM enablers would find a way to interpret that as a personal insult to her.

Michael Medved had a liberal guest on his show who had gone to Crawford. He wasn't too impressed with Sheehan. He also claimed that Sheehan stays in a Motel at night.

Mickey Mouse is a celebrity, don't you know. It's all so tiring for Cindy day in and day out.

;-)

I'm ignoring her from here on in (until the crackup, of course).

Camp Casey? I know I might be a little slow on the uptake, but for a minute, I was thinking, "what is she doing in South Korea?" My father was stationed at Camp Casey back in 1955/56 when he was in Korea near the 38th Parallel. I do remember her son's name was Casey, but it took me a minute to think it was named after her son. B-P I know a bit OT but I figure I would fess up my shortcomings here. B-)

By the way, we had about 7 counter protesters today and hundreds at Camp Casey...don't let the mainstream media say differently.

That's because it's MONDAY, and REAL Americans have to, you know, WORK for a living. Ugh.

And I'm not sure I believe that quote she cites either. Anybody have a link to the article in the Austin Statesman??

That neighbor who was getting ready for dove season with his shotgun yesterday should start a manure pile right at the corner of his property near these protestors.

George Bush knows what the problem is. He knows that this is a grieving mother and she may change her mind again next week. She is in the anger stage, and she wants to lash out at somebody. She has fixated on GW. I am very sad for her. I do not blame her for her actions. No one who has lost someone close to them really does.

WE need to fix the blame squarely on the shoulders of those who are taking advantage of this grieving mother, for their own political gain. Shame on them!
