How many times does the man have to say "I will not run?" Nevertheless, I hope Woodward's right, and I hope Rice is the running mate.

Woodward is the same idiot who said that Bush struck a pre-election deal with the Saudis to keep oil prices down.

Cheney won't run he will probably retire and catch up on some major fishing. But if he did he would most certainly get my support and vote!

I hope for Rice too, if for no other reason than to hear the left's excuse for trashing a black woman running for president with years of whitehouse experience, and foreign policy experience, and a massive education.

This is the liberal equivalent of comic book nerds
imagining match-ups between their super-heroes.
Could the Hulk beat Batman?
Who knows.
Who cares.
I suppose it keeps Hillary's name in the headlines.

How about a Rice/Cheney ticket? Also, keep Rove as the Political Director. That would piss off the left deeply, but would prevent Helen Thomas from actually killing herself (we are humanitarians, after all).

Woodward's a ninny. Lots of politicians say they "have no plans to run" or something like that. But Cheney has said "no." I think he means it.

I still hold out hope that Cheney will run. He is the logical person to continue Bush's strategery. Maybe only for one term, and Rice would be a good VP pick. So would Allen, or Jeb, or Norm Coleman.

If Cheney were to run against Hillary, can you imagine the debate? He would cream her in a soft-spoken, mild-mannered way, and she would escalate and get uglier and uglier.
I'm almost sorry Woodward is smoking something on this one.

I hope to see Cheney run.
I hope he is only playing a game with the democrats/MSM.
He and Bush really pulled one over on them when Bush had Cheney lead the VP search team, only to name Cheney.
I still laugh pretty good over that.
These two men know politics, and I say he's possibly still an option.
