Today I propose we the American people (Freepers) start voting with our remotes. Allow me to explain. We are at war with an enemy that seeks our total destruction. In order to defeat this enemy, we the American people must reach a common bond with a common purpose and that being total Victory. While this war may last decades, we cannot loose unless we do not stay united. However, if we are divided from internal struggles, there is a chance our civilization will be destroyed and replaced with a Muslim culture. The most dangerous internal struggle I see today is with the mainstream media (or the MSM).The American people must organize against this internal enemy anyway possible. A great start would be to stop watching all television programs that are anti-American, anti-war on terror and anti-Military. The MSM has ignored we the people too long and now with the new media like blogs and talk radio we can ignore them. How? JustDontWatch(meaning you’ll turn the channel at once).

My blood boils day after day when I see our media slowly destroying every effort we make to fight the war on terror. We can't just stand and watch while our civilization is under threat. WE MUST TAKE ACTION. An I need your help. I want to set up a blog called JustDontWatch. I want to organize at JustDontWatch. My first goal will be to write a plague of oath that is to be accepted by all fellow protesters. This will serve as a personal reminder for all participants to how important every single compliance we achieve. I understand the extreme difficulty this project faces to achieve compliance to a plague that simply asks all members to change the channel(JustDontWatch)to bias in the news. I have faith in the American people to do the right thing and honor this plague. If enough people participate in this silent demonstration, our message will be heard loudly from coast to coast. "Stop undermining our war on terror with your bias anti-American news propaganda."

Unforunatly I have no expierence in any of these things I have proposed. That is why I am asking for your help.

We are not at war with Islam.

We are at war with terror. Or maybe extremism.

If Muslim culture replaces American "culture" (or what is left of or passes for it, or Mexican culture if that takes over first) and does so peacefully (like by an invasion of millions of unarmed civilians walking across the border and having ten kids per family, or by conversion of millions of your aimless agnostic kids who were taught in school to hate our "culture" anyway), then that is just fine because all cultures, races and people are equally valid and it doesn't matter which one is dominant, as long as it votes Democrat and works for $2 an hour.

In our disgust with TV and attempting to more things together as a family, we have all taken up different intruments in order to learn bluegrass and 'jam' together. So far we are having a blast and my 12 year old is all into it. We're trying to find more things to do so that the temptation of the clicker is reduced. Never having subscribed to cable, we have continued to watch the degradation of TV. Visiting friend and relatives who have cable, it appears we are not missing much.

I think a great many Americans have voted against the lefty media by switching to Faux news. Car chases are much more exiting than Commie agit-prop.

This only works if you're a Nielson/Arbitron family. I mean, who would know that you're not watching? I stopped watching ABC, NBC and CBS news during the first week of the Lewinsky scandal because I could not believe they could unintentionally miss the point so blatantly. I am better for it of course but it's not as if they knew I wasn't watching. But funny how things work out. About a year later I received one of those ratings books in which I was supposed to keep track of my viewing habits for a week. I don't know how many people I was representing statistically, but that week, I flat out firewalled Fox News!
