"It kind of opens up the door for all types of people who want to make a license plate a public forum, for every initiative," he said.

Umm, it is a vanity plate, bub. Geeze.

Homosexual Agenda Ping.

So license plates glorifying homosexuals are fine. I remember articles in which a book and verse of the Bible were not ok, I think it was JOHN (and a number). Or remember the "Choose Life" license plate? I can't remember the outcome of that one.

So, it is now official. Black is White, and White is indeed Black.

Freepmail me if you want on/off this pinglist.

Note: How about a license plate that says "XGAYSROK"?

These plates should be legal. They express a personal opinion and are covered under the constitutions first amendment. Conservatives that support their own freedom but try to limit others are not better than libs.

I am not gay BTW, but I do believe in the constitution and freedom of expression. Apparently some of you do not.

In a related story, "GODSOK" was rejected.

GAYRYTS? I think you can get a shot for that. Maybe one of those over-the-counter zinc sprays would help.

There was a similar case with a license plate that got to the Vermont Supreme Court over a plate with the word "Irish" - the lady with the plate prevailed 3-2.

I wonder if the court will allow a license place that reads "GODROCKS"? Or how about "LUVJESUS"? Or maybe something simle like "LEV 18 22"?

Oh wait...that would be "hate speech" against the oh-so-hallowed gays, wouldn't it?

Ok so now I can use a particular four letter word on my lic. plate because it promotes anther sexual behavior.

The headline should read "Judge ok's Sexual Acts on license plates."

"The narrow issue before us is whether a reasonable person would believe the terms 'gays are OK' and 'gay rights' are, themselves, offensive to good taste and decency. It is the conclusion of the commission that a reasonable person would not," Phan wrote.

These people are saying that we are unreasonable because we are offended by the terms 'gays are OK'. This sounds like a highly subjective conclusion on their part.

So people in Utah support perverse sexuality... who woulda thought? It's only been happening for around 150 years.
