Friends, today on Air America's affiliate, Talk City 1240, it was announced that Air America listeners will be mobilizing to counter our "I LOVE AMERICA" art exhibit and pro-American rally.
That rally is set to take place in Downtown Sacramento THIS THURSDAY, July 28th from about 3:30 PM, concluding at 10:00 PM. [Location of event is 1300 I Streets at the corner of 13th and I]
+ 3:30 PM The "I LOVE AMERICA" Exhibit Opens
+ 4:30 PM "I LOVE AMERICA" Rally Begins
+ 7:00 PM Event begins live broadcast on "Night Talk Live
with Mark Williams" - KFBK 1530 AM

I won't let that happen, and I am asking you to do your part and join me. I will be driving from San Francisco to Sacramento to be there.
WE NEED AT LEAST 500 PEOPLE THERE - Please help us build that crowd!
I am asking that every one of you reading this make the effort to get there as well. Whether you come by car, bus or plane, please do what it takes.
We have been receiving media inquiries from news outlets throughout the nation. This has become a national story - the most recent front line in the battle over whether Americans will continue to stand strong and support the war against terrorism here on the home front.
So - please, make your travel arrangements if you have not already done so. And bring as many people as you can with you.

I am currently deployed to Spain, supporting the War on Terror. I listen to you, Lee and OV every morning during my commute from Antioch to Travis Air Force Base and I find myself in agreement with 99.9999999% of what you guys say. I have been here since May and should be back to CA in September.
I write to you, because I just saw in FreeRepublic about the Err Amerika crowd crawling out to protest the Move America Forward “I love America” exhibition. Trust me, if I were in CA, I would come support Move America Forward against the Blame America First crowd. It’s pretty sad to see them abuse the freedom and liberties I and my brothers and sisters in the military work so hard to defend.
Give ‘em hell for me, Melanie! And give my regards to Lee and OV (and Sussman, too!)

The turnout of this event hinges on how many customers the downtown McDonald's morning crew has to service? If it isn't busy, you may have a potentially rowdy (and smelling of McGriddles) crowd consisting of 5 or 6 at the protest!

Will the commies be able to borrow their mother's minivans long enough to make the trip, or can they get off work at the food co-op long enough?
What makes you think they work? Seriously, this guy reminds me of Michael Mewdow. They're cut from the same stripe. This isn't art, it's a mockery of art. This character is full of contempt. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he laughs himself to sleep at night and what an idiot he's made out of Lockyear.
I don't much care for Williams.
He strikes me as a grand-stander with neither tact nor a tactical mind when it comes to politics.

I have a feeling this event is going to provide more hype than substance, and the real issue of government funding and sponsorship of Anti-American and obscene displays in the name of 'art' will get lost in the shouting. I hope I'm wrong.
