Hey, you came on very antagonistic to everybody in your multi-targeted post ~ it's fair to respond in kind don't you think?

It's not like insults should be linked EXCLUSIVELY to the guy you're insulting or anything like that ~ otherwise the whole beer joint is up and arms, and chairs are flying, fists swinging, and next thing you know some guy is unloading a streetsweeper into the celing and we don't have any more lights or refrigeration for the lager.

Like White's restaurant in Arlington 25 years ago ~ just a big ol' mess.

Is internment on the table?

Nope.

Short of a WMD we'll continue as we have since 9/11. But that won't be sufficient for the jihadi's.

A WMD attack, anywhere on the planet, equals extermination planetwide. Not organized. Not planned. Simple reaction and survival instinct.

The fifth era of mankind will be born in blood and turmoil and the statanic followers of Muhammed shall be the most hated on the planet.

This is NOT original with me, by a long shot, so don't hit abuse. Do a little research. Not moonbat or bircher sites. Mainline history will be sufficient. Two of the "major religions on Earth," as recognized by the "impartial" UN have this as specific prophecies.

Seems like they might just have been given a little whisper from above on this one.

Does the name Cassandra mean anything to anyone?

I just wrote a short essay called "Is it time yet?" to ask if it was time to deport all muslims.

Nothing in it was threatening, but the thread was promptly yanked.

I wonder why internment is an acceptable subject but deportation isn't?

There were about 10,000 Italians and Germans interred in Montana during WW II. Japanese were interred during the same period of time on the west coast because they could watch troop and ship movements. We were at war and the military were given the leeway to determine what action was needed, and it was done. I am fairly sure Japanese were interred on the islands of Hawaii. It seems to be a fact that is commonly known, whether it is true or not.

No, but a "religion" that in its main, has practiced that from the beginning to the present is not a religion. A much smarter man than me said "Democracy is not a suicide pact". This country cannot afford to be tolerant of practice of a form of religion that demands orthodoxy or death. No more than it can survive "free speech" calling for the destruction of the United States.

There have been numerous predominantly Muslim nations, both today and historically, that do not practice that.

BTW, I am starting to look at the Inquisition in a whole new light after considering the problem that the UK, France, and the NL have with so many Muslims in their midst.
In the first place, the Inquisition was the RCC practicing what so many here accuse the Muslims of.

In the second place, it was more about Jews and "Heretic" Christians than it was about Muslims, though they were targetted too.

Said Jews often found refuge among the Muslims.

A half dozen Japanese were interned in Hawaii (out of a population numbering many thousands ~ something like 1/3 of the total population.

In the Continental US over 100,000 persons of Japanese descent were interned ~ most of them consisting of American citizens.

The rationale you propose, watching troop movements, was not given at the time. In any case, by the time the US got into a serious war with the Japanese (toward the end of the war with Germany), almost all the Japanese Americans had been released from the camps.

The real reason for their internment was the ambition by wealthy and powerful interests in California in their property. Once you were in camp you couldn't work your land and pay your taxes. The State of California seized their land and sold it to rich people.

I personally know people who lost land now consisting of Wilshire Boulevard and everything on either side for the depth of 2 miles. This property is worth billions.

The one spy that Japan managed to lodge in our nuclear research program in Chicago was German.

ought to give you a pretty good picture of this year's pre-eminent Hispano-Indian-Arab entertainer.

Latin America is full of them ~ Should look like this:

Is that what you thought Spaniards ought to look like?
