Are We Dancing to Harry Reid's Democratic War Room?

Are We Dancing to the Tune of the Democrat War Room?

In December of 2004, Harry Reid announced that he, along with Ted Kennedy and Chuck Schumer, were forming a Democratic War Room... I think that conservatives would have to admit that on issue after issue - The Democrats are keeping the Republicans off base just enough so that gridlock has emerged - even with the larger majorities that winning elections provides. Look back at the controversies in the year up to this point: War Crimes, Guantanamo Prison, Social Security reform, Immigration Reform, The Minutemen, Bolton, Carl Rove, Tom Delay, energy reform, stem cell research, and Terry Schiavo among others - the democrat spin cycle has been able to gin up enough character assassination, demagoguery, and lies that the cracks in the Republican big tent have appeared. Consequently, the President is suffering in the polls, and our agenda is suffering.
I believe that if we recognize that is happening, that the Democratic War Room is stragegizing this mayhem, we can help to guide public opinion to get more of these liberals out of office.
What to do? Number one - Don't take the bait. Don't defend Carl Rove or Tom Delay other than to say that they are good public servants that could make more money in the private sector rather than put their lives and reputations on the line for a pittance. However, the real issue is why are we not talking about an energy bill that puts Americans to work? Why are we not investing our retirement dollars in a real retirement fund instead of a Ponzi scheme? Why are we spending public funds on stem cell research when drug companies spent 200 million on stem cells last year alone. Why are we not protecting our borders in a time of war? Number two, stop looking for "fair and balanced." It does not matter and is not helpful to even care what Janine Garafalo, Al Sharpton, Barbara Boxer or Oprah Winfrey has to say on any issue. Anytime these liberal airheads advances a complaint they should be labeled a liberal and hooted out of the public square.

Presumably AlQaida was able to train Harry Reid quite well. Only time will tell if it sticks.

You may be right, but it is of little consequence since the Democrat War Room was long ago identified as a circular firing squad..

Dirty Harry is hilarious. Remember after the election before he started in his new position, they talked about how moderate he was, and he was *GASP* pro life (or something like that)?

hahahhaha

Funny, but I will believe it is a "circular firing squad" when Katie Couric, Tim Russert, Stefanopolous, Matt Cooper or any one of the multitude of Democratic hacks loses their job and has to find real work.

Re: "Are We Dancing to the Tune of the Democrat War Room?" Why??? 'Cause the GOP are wusses!

For once, I agree with Bender. We need to hammer the Dems!

I agree, Son. I'll knock Reid and Teddy into tomorrow... Hell, I'll knock them into Futurama! Then we only have to deal with their severed heads...

The wheels are coming off the msm/rat wagon daily.

Come 2006 there will be vastly less rats in power at all levels of government in most of the country.

We will have to suffer lunatic senators till their death, this has always been the case, and keeps the Republic stable.

The blue states Will concentrate their power, but it will continue to diminish as their policy financially squeezes out private business and investment; Only the elite will remain in the areas that do not yield to reality, this likewise has always been the case.

The south and the sun belt will continue to expand, the coasts and major cities will continue their politically induced decline.

Things are going nicely as far as I see.

We are safest when the government is in a state of paralysis, most at risk when they are doing things (to) for us.

"Things are going nicely...."

I agree. In general the Dims are selfdestructing daily and I trust the American People to see it and act on it next election. Conservative values are making an ever steady comback thanks to the leadership of President Bush.

Things are going nicely if you like how the RINOs have wet their pants in public, and you think that this will lead to primary losses in their incumbency. Incumbents, weasly wepublicans, have a big advantage.
