These people are lost in a fog.
They have no idea what they're talking about, and are trying to make a fast buck off of the God they don't know.
Jesus and Mary Magdalene have been showing up on FX's Rescue Me lately, though I guess they are supposed to be in the imagination of Denis Leary's character. The portrayals are not exactly flattering.
However, on a related subject, did anyone see last night's (7/19) Rescue Me? It was about as anti-PC as you could get. It trashed "sensitivity training," and other feel-good liberal junk. I thought it was amazing TV.
Saw it and yeah, that scene was easily one of the best commentaries on the subject. The Jesus and Mary Magdelene thing is meant to be way off, since it's in Tommy's head, and the show reminds us again and again how screwed up most of the characters are.

I was thrilled to hear the Tommy character say "so only white people can be racist??" And when he said the ethnic and religious backround of the people he is saving as a firefighter makes no difference, I thought that was a great line.
You think NYC actually closes down entire fire houses and subjects neighborhoods to greater dangers for 8 hours so fire fighters can undergo "sensitivity training?" If so, that is really outrageous. Wouldnt surprise me though.

Many churches have such bookstores in the foyer. They sell Bibles, CDs, books, trinkets, candles etc.
The proceeds usually goes toward the building fund or towards feeding the hungry and clothing the naked.
Silly stuff like that.

The real Christ was not a magician, a philosopher, or a prophet no matter how hard we are told to believe same. Since his death and resurrection there have been many efforts to change the facts of his life, his birth and his inheritance. The muzzies wrote on the dome of the rock and put into writing that their God had no son and so then therefore we are to understand that Jesus was a goody two shoes prophet of hope and glory.
Unfortunately, Jesus said he brings the sword and not peace. We are to fight and if necessary, die for him and his church. Early christians were fed to the lions. The deaths of present day martys in Africa and Asia are spreading HIS spiritual body onto the four corners of the globe and are seeding Christianity.
The abundant ignorance of the secularists in the MSM is a permanent affliction since they can't learn what they know to be physically impossible. In their book -if it hasn't been invented then it can't ever exist, has never existed and can't become a reality. Einstein and Freud are the limits of the known universe for secular humanitsts.
Wasn't it time magazine that put "The End of History" on its front cover when the Berlin wall fell? And wasn't the peace dividend from "no more war" the cure for all economic ills?
The MSM is as dumb as a box of rocks. Whoever tries to rewrite history and make Christ out to be a feel good --goody-two shoes will become the low ratings champs of the season and the laughing stock of the western world.
