"Hitler, in his philosophy, was, you know, he hated Jews, he was murdering Jews, and there were some people he liked. But he never went to the level that these people are going to," LoBiondo said.

So, since there were some people he liked, murdering millions of Jews is not as bad as the terorism of these Muslims. Huh?

Hitler was a mass murderer. The Islamofascists are simply following in his footsteps. They too aspire to a mad dream of world domination over the pyres of skulls of the infidel dead - just like Hitler dreamed of building an Aryan future free of the Jews.

Let me get this straight.
He's apologizing for comparing terrorists to Hitler? And, a caller calls in to the radio show and is offended by that remark?
Who was the caller? Seems to me he/she would have had to have been either a terrorist him/herself, or a simpathizer.

That's it! It's finally over. Our panty weight politicians are now apologizing for offending terrorists!

I would hope that this guy get's tons of mail stating that he will not be re-elected.

I wish this guy had been a Democrat. But, alas, he is a Republican! More fodder for the Dems.

Here's free advice for everybody on earth. Avoid Hitler and/or 3rd Reich comparisons at all costs. They are always seen as over the top even though Stalin and Mao were worse.

I understand the need to compare the Islamo-fascists to a historical group like the Nazis. It gives the common person who doesn't follow what's really happening a point of reference. Like "oh that's what they're doing, Nazis were bad so these people must be bad."

I don't agree with it, these animals are just as bad as any murderous group in history and they need to be described as such. They are lying, murderous idealouges. They are depraved, they are overbearing, iron fisted, sexist, cruel, underhanded, back stabbing thugs wearing the guise of religious zealots. They kill for their culture, they starve their own, and aim to destroy all that are unlike they are.

I don't know why this guy decided to recant, the only people he could have possibly offended were Nazis and terrorists. I don't see much difference between Hitler and the terrorists of our own day, as they both possess/ed a particular hatred for Jews.

They have different methods of killing and conquest, but their aspirations are pretty much the same, namely, world domination. We declared war on both enemies. Hitler hated all things non-Aryan, Islamic terrorists hate all things non-Muslim. The comparisons are fair, IMO.

Whats the problem? Are Nazi references allowed only when it is a dumocrat making them while explain to the world why our military is so evil. As I see it, the Islamofacist sub-humans we are fighting, to include the ones locked up in Guantanamo, are at least as bad as the Nazis were and would perpetrate the same atrocities against "the infidels" that the Third Reich did if they had the capability.

LoBiondo + Atlantic City + Gambling = corruption

Well, he is a Northeast Republican. Olympia Snow, Arlen Specter, and Susan Collins fit this mode.

Maybe no surprise except that the Republican party should probably disown some of these RINOs.

Let's just say that the terrorists have introduced a way to intentionally indescriminantly mass murder random innocent individuals.

Both Hitler and these miscreants were/are examples of the worst of humanity.

Hitler actually focused on select groups to exterminate. The terrorists will kill anyone. They don't care who it is, as long as it's as manny as they can. Anyone happening by, even if it's their leader by accident, they all deserve to die. It's a (very flawed) means to and end, instilling terror.

quote "Hitler, in his philosophy, was, you know, he hated Jews, he was murdering Jews, and there were some people he liked. But he never went to the level that these people are going to," LoBiondo said. A caller objected to the statement only a few minutes later. /quote Odds are the caller was jewish or a zionist non-jew and objected to the part of the statement that said, "But he never went to the level that these people are going to." The idea that Hitler was the worst evil in human history bcause of his hatred of the jews is a sacrosant proposition that must never be questioned. Was Hitler evil, absolutely, but was he the worst evil in humanities history? Probably not. It is unfortunate, but human history is full of evil men and women (Ghengis Khan, Attilla, even Alexander commited attrocities in large scale). Hitler, it can be argued was not even the worst evil of the 20th century. He had quite formidable compatriots for that honor in Hirohito, Stalin, Mao, and to a lesser extent (only in the volume of people who died, not in his evil), Pol Pot.

The Nazis were allies with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Hitler greatly admired Islam, and there were Bosnian Muslim SS Stormtroopers. Two full strength divisions, I recall.
