Agree ...this memo is old news. I've read about it frequently and apparently some State Dept type at a meeting took the info about Plame down by accident. I've read that what reporters are really nervous about is that they will be revealed to be the leakers.

I love the way MSNBC lets Bush hater Buchanon debate the Dem strategist as their way of providing fair and balanced coverage.

Impeach and block the supreme court nomination(s) - Pukin Dog said it first.

Colin Powell must be a very, very scared.
If he did it, he should come clean about it - then the Left will collapse in order to spare him.

I'd laugh my butt off if Bush did resign and was replaced by Cheney !

Cheney is twice as conservative as Bush. And could be elected for 2 additional terms :) hehehe

We'd have 11 more years of a guaranteed conservative in the white house ! By the time his tenure was up Hillary would have Alzheimer's

To start with, no one has been accused of a crime, let alone convicted of one. So the Dems are accusing the White House of collusion in a non-crime.

Last night on Fox News, they had a discussion about the Supreme Court, and they had Mary Landrieu and Arlen Specter on together.

I noticed that also. Especially with his dramatics of "this is very serious".

Buchanan and his sister bay, BTW are the puppet masters for the "hero" of a very small but very loud minority on FR, tom tancredo.

A bridge too far, if that is what he's thinking. They might force Rove's resignation, but Bush isn't going anywhere.

Disagree. Put on your Bush Cheney shirt and wear it all weekend. Bring out the bumper stickers, bring out your lawn signs, call your congressmen, write the papers. Be active. dont sit on this. dont be in a bubble, please. Trust me! I used to be one of those crazy people, hence my tag name.

Peter Fenn is a DEMOCRAT POLITICAL STRATEGIST.

This is a classic example of starting a fire, fanning the flames and claiming that the Bush presidency is on fire.

I just wrote about this in another thread. To me it seems as if the MSM is punting on trying to get Rove. They had two ways to go. Either drop this whole matter and let it quietly fade or wratchet up the rhetoric and charges. They seem to have chosen the latter or are throwing it out there to see how it plays.

Of course, Buchanan was his usual "doom and gloom for the President" self. But in the end, he seemed to be implying that it was others who had something to be worried about, i.e. Joe Wilson himself or friends in the State Department. Naturally, the dem strategist took advantage of Buchanan's vagueness (read talking out his arse) to imply the President was the focus of the investigation.

Honestly, this just keeps getting worse and worse for the MSM. They are losing it (again) for all the world to see. There is no accusation that they will not make.

Right, just like Gerald Ford got another term.

Not to get this line of thought going, but if that were to happen before Jan 20th, 07, Cheney could only run once, I believe.

Who is worse - Pat Buchanan, or Joe Scarborough?

What is obscene is a mattress-bag such as Valerie Plame being allowed to get her hack of a husband a juicy all-expenses paid trip to Africa based on the request - this was supposed to be a serious mission, and they send a career government employee to check it out??

And my tax dollars are paying for this???

This is sickening. Will they send the cocktail hostessess from "H Street" to Iran after their elections? You know, just to recon the situation?

If Bush is the target that was a brilliant move on his part to appoint a special prosecutor when he knew he was the leaker.

No, I expect the media to move off this and back to the abuse story which they believe is a winner for them. Also, there may be more Abu Ghrabib pics coming out to rub in the American people's faces.

Anyone familiar with Fenn knows him to be an idiot. He's always been a dutiful defender of all things Democrat and Klinton. Pay him no mind. He's undeserving of any.

However, it's worth noting that MSNBC's idea of balance is him and Pat Buchanan as debaters. During this same segment Buchanan spoke of the White House's credibility being called into question regarding this Plame nonsense. Funny coming from a man who ran as a Reform Party Presidential candidate simply so he could be eligible for federal matching funds and get himself out of hock from his previous go-nowhere campaigns. He's never had much use for anything this president has done yet MSNBC has him on to represent the Administration's point of view. Don't think for a minute MSNBC doesn't know that every single book this guy has written recently has had at least one passage speaking highly of Nazi Germany in it. The network kills two birds with one stone: they can say they're being fair while at the same time portraying all conservatives to be like this wingnut.

Thankfully few people actually watch their network...

Yep, a follow up on my original "Open Letter to the MSM". I keep having to update it with the latest media BS. I may never finish it at this rate.

Hundreds of Donkeys BSing vs. only one Pukin shoveling. Truly a Herculean Augean Stables job. But somebody's gotta do it! I'll hold your coat. Go Pukin!
