Peter King Says Rove Should Be Given An Award.
CNN | 7/15/05

Posted on 07/15/2005 6:30:18 AM PDT by CaptainK

King was just interviewed on CNN. He attacked both of the Wilsons. He emphasized the numerous lies that Joe Wilson continues to spread, even though a Senate committee has already established that the truth is foreign to Wilson. He correctly noted that Mrs. Wilson knew her husband was spreading falsehoods about the President's office and as a CIA agent she should be held accountable. When Solidad O'Brien asked if Rove should face disciplinary action for naming a CIA agent King said Rove should be given an award. The look on O'Brian's face was priceless.

I'm impressed with King on this issue; isn't he usually a RINO?

I have seen him interviewed elsewhere and he is a great defender of this WH.

This attack on Rove is typical of the Dems modus operandi -- when they get caught in ANOTHER LIE (we have totally lost count) they always shift the focus onto someone else, as the bad guy. The Clintons, and their ilk, cultivated this technique very well and it is part of the generic liberal play book now....it is all they have to try and fool their kool-aid drinkers...

I think he's more of a Whine-o. He likes to bitch and moan, but every once in a while...

I never watch CNN because they are so unbiased. I would loved to see this show however.

they always shift the focus onto someone else

I've said for years that Leftists are literally mentally ill. In order to behave as these guys do, you have to be Passive Aggressive (blaming everyone else for your own mistakes) with a large dose of Cognitive Dissonance (believing 2 mutually exclusive things simulataneously).

They're not crazy enough to need hospitalization, but their mental infirmities do affect their day-to-day functioning.

I was just about to post that.... King is a RINO. But lately he's been playing a true Republican on TV, for some reason. Maybe he's not planning to run for re-election.

King has a soft spot for Ireland, he got along with Clinton because of it.

I saw it too. Pretty but clueless Soledad was trying her best to entice King into saying something derogatory about Rove and/or the president.

"But...but...isn't that splitting hairs to say he didn't violate any laws?"

Basically that was her message.

I don't think he's usually a rino, though I think he is occasionally, but you have to realize he needs some slack because he is from NY.

Being a Republican politician in NY, I guess he's obligated to be a RINO (that is, if he wants to be re-elected).

Right, but after I posted this to you, I went back down the thread and saw that he might not be running for re-election so that could be why he's grown a pair now....
