You notice that the mooslim leaders don't care if their people murder and maim children, women and innocent men, only condemn defenders of freedom. If they would condemn that crap then maybe they could comment on these evil murderers getting their just reward, namely, shot with pig blood dipped bullets. I personally love the idea.

Oh Pershing had contact with muslims, all right, (in the area of the Philipines) but this particular story has been considered a military myth.

I just sent the California National Guard an e-mail praising their suggestion for pigs' blood bullets, and saying that until these Muslims and "peace groups" start criticizing the terrorists rather than whining about the treatment of the terrorists, they'll remain irrelevant.

I find it absolutely mind boggling that these Islamic groups have the audacity to complain about the poster. Can you imagine in WW2 some German or Japanese group or association (obviously not German or Japanese citizens, but perhaps second generation) complaining about posters illustration Nazis and Japanese as enemies? Heck, a lot of Japanese descendents were in the US military!
This just shows that the world has gone mad. The fiends are complaining that people (MILITARY people!) aren't "sensitive" enough to terrorists....
If they don't require killin', by whatever method, they should be all right.

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Bob Graham (D-Fla.) cited as an example a dinner he attended last week with people who work on intelligence issues and have connections to the intelligence community. The dinner conversation ranged in part on how U.S. military commander "Black Jack" Pershing used Islam's prohibition on pork to help crush an insurgency on the southern Philippine island of Mindanao after the Spanish-American War at the turn of the last century.
In one instance, Graham explained in an interview, U.S. soldiers captured 12 Muslims. They killed six of them with "bullets dipped into the fat of pigs."
After that, Graham said, the U.S. soldiers wrapped the Muslim rebels in funeral shrouds made of pigskin and "buried them face down so they could not see Mecca. Then they poured the entrails of the pigs over them. The other six were forced to watch. And that was the end of the insurrection on Mindanao," Graham noted.
At any rate, I never knew this story was considered to be a myth, though I have heard some pretty grandioae variations that were obviously B.S.

The Army is PC beyond belief. The last case of MREs I opened had no pork meals and two vegetarian meals out of the 12 varieties. Even our soldiers don't get to eat what they want. The franks were a popular variety.
