Yeah...all those cops that died on 9-11 were looking for donuts.

Good thing I didn't wait to get on that train at 5 pm. It was a nightmare then and I can't imagine what it's like now. I dodged a big bullet!

Penn Station is a pretty big place. I wonder what's up.

These days there are more guardsmen that cops I think. I don't know what guardsmen eat though :-) It was packed as heck this afternoon.

NY's Penn Station shut down due to "police activity"

I was in a subway in midtown Manhatten, 9AM, on 9/11/01, and the voice over the intercom said almost exactly the same thing with respect to the WTC.

They didn't say "terror threat", they said "police activity". There usually is a difference.

it could be a track fire - that happens alot, sometimes the smoke condition means everyone has to get out.

You're too funny for words...most of these alerts prove to be false alarms, but the real thing is a b*tch. My son is NYPD and he never eats doughnuts...and puts his life on the line avery day, FYI.

Seriously? I never heard that story. How ironic! No wonder it wasn't touted in the press.
