Shelia Jackson Lee was just on the House Floor calling him a Great American

Hate to break it to Ms Jackson Lee, but I saw "The Greatest American" contest on The Discovery Channel and RONALD REGAN won!

Billy Graham didn't make it to the finalists.

Graham knew exactly what he was doing. They are his kind of people I suppose. Now think of the photoop she will be using the define her moral standing with a visual and audible endorsement by the democrate Billy Graham. Makes me sick.

"I can't BELIEVE the level of rationalization in this thread."

Attacking Bill Clinton is one thing he is in the political ring, and his behavior has lead to justification of some of his attacks. Billy Graham though is being attacked for not getting into the political ring, which if you have paid any attention at all to him you would know that is not what he is about. Whenever politics are brought up he tries to avoid getting too deep into domestic politics, electing politicans does not save souls. I do not think he has condoned all of Clinton's actions he just does not wish to be part of a public discussion of it.

If he meant that God finds you where you are at and there are many ways from where you are at to find God, that would be more consistent

I wish that were the case, but he was making a direct response to a question from the athiest King. He is only one of many that is espousing that view of late.

Billy Graham by his own admission isn't mentally operating with a full deck and proved it by his praise of Billie Jeff and his partner in crime.

Rev. Graham was jesting, surely. (He's probably hoping to herd two stray lambs back into the fold.)

AH-hem, have you forgotten that Bush 41 and wife, Barbara, have invited these very same clintoons to vacation with them at Kennebunkport, this summer....

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!

I am sorry, but I CANNOT even picture Barbara and Hitlery carrying on a conversation....I can just picture Hitlery trying to "big-time" Barbara, with her condescending voice and attitude....gag me....

Rev. Graham was overtaken by the moment, filled with the milk of human kindness, but he was praising pair of raving sociopaths.

Oh---my goodness, and yet if George Bush had appeared there on stage with Billy Graham, he would have been castigated!!

I don't worry a bit about anything that Billy says right now, most people listen to him with their heart and not their heads, anyway...he is there to give inspiration, and speak to people's souls, not their voter registration, no matter how much Hitlery would like it...

I turned on C-Span over the weekend in the wee hours, and caught a rerun, well, the end of it, of George Allen's recent visit to NH at a republican women's luncheon. Held on Sat., I believe. Didn't catch his speech, unfortunately, but saw several minutes afterwards when he was shaking hands. He is one of the ones to watch.

One of the arguements that the dems used against President Bush in the last election, was he was too religious...

How are they gonna explain "using Hillary's religious affiliations" with the dems that want America and the POTUS to be more secular?

She has worked for almost a year, to appear more centrist, and moderate, to make a space between her and the looney left, with Howard Dean, Kerry, and others. BUT, she screwed up bigtime twice in a few days....

Having that press conference on Friday, complaining about Karl Rove's mention of "liberals" in his speech, had her ADMITTING that she is a liberal, even more vociferous of one, and most dems, and now, falsly photo-oping her religiosity....

He made it to the top 25. I'd say that most people consider him a great American. What are you talking about?

The Clintons played that old man like a fiddle..........

How true, and much to the dismay of so many who believed in the moral certainty of this man.

How could this man of cloth not see the evil in these moral deviants? How could he not see their perversions of all that he preached?

Shame on you, Billy Graham! Your life ends with the "revelation" that all you preached was not based in true love for values that so many of us believed you stood for, and for so many of us, and it comes at a time when we would have cherished your final statement of repulsion of those who would destroy all that we were led to believe that you stood for.

Your life has been one of great value, but now it is time to re-assess

"So...does the Rev. Billy Graham officially have Alzeimer's?"

No, it's Parkinson's. Dementia with that one too, especially in it's advanced stages.
