OK. We had a thread going about Rev. Graham's appearance in NYC and the ho-hum reception from many Catholic churches. I don't have a problem with Rev. Graham saying that the Clintons are his friends, but I do have a problem with his lending credibility to a presidential run on Hillary's part.

Main Entry: 1quip
Pronunciation: 'kwip
Function: noun
Etymology: earlier quippy, perhaps from Latin quippe indeed, to be sure (often ironic), from quid what -- more at QUIDDITY
1 a : a clever usually taunting remark : GIBE b : a witty or funny observation or response usually made on the spur of the moment
2 : QUIBBLE, EQUIVOCATION
3 : something strange, droll, curious, or eccentric : ODDITY

I'd be unhappy if he told everyone to vote for her, but that's not even close to what he said.

Maybe he thinks that seeing a hellbeast like her in office will do more to drive people towards Christianity than he ever could...?

Please explain. BG has his son looking over him, surely Franklin knew what was going on. Why did he allow this to happen?

Blaming in on the Clintons is sooooo '90's.

It doesn;t matter what he said or how he said it or what intent and meaning he had in mind: ---

It's HOW SHE and her campaign will use it that counts.

Find the actual quote. It says something like "Bill would leave Hillary to run the country." Which is rather funny.

What better way to usher in the rapture and the end of the world, and return of Christ.

I think he's just a sick old man probably with not much longer to go. Kind of like Hindenberg was to Hitler.

That pretty much says it all.

I think we are going to see a dramatic change when his son Franklin takes over the reins completely.
Franklin just does not have his dad's fire (though the fire has mellowed considerably in recent years, where nobody's his enemy and everyone's his friend).
That said, I do like Billy Graham.

He was likely just being overly charitable like a good reverend, but his statement has left me perplexed.

Sorry, Graham is obviously in his dotage and apparently senile. He should have stayed home.

Sad to retire with this grotesque remark the last thing anyone remembers.
