Meteor - I saw one one evening years ago while talking to a friend while I was leaving his place - it was so quick I didn't have time to tell him to look! It was low in the horizon looking south from del Norte Tejas area ...

More into: it was a twin forked burn, like two burners going north and when saw with binocs white flash at point of it like somethign burned second burn and kept going and going with twinforked V all the way over the horizon .. and started curving to the north, made slow gradual turn to the north ... meteor, not not a meteor, twin tailed thing, somethign manned, or something reentering the atmosphers. Now is probably over Fresno by now! Been half hour ago since he first spotted it (sorry, my timing was off) .. still light outside, sun is catching the burn -- NOT a contrail, not a jet, it's a burn.

I saw it too, FWIW. Big object, very high, most DEFINITELY NOT A METEOR. Twin-forked burn.
