I love Dick Francis. Our daughter was doing a writing class at the public library in N. Providence. On the second visit, I disovered that on the 'Sale' racks, they had a bunch of hardback Dick Francis novels. I ended up buying 12 of them for $1 each! WooHoo! I love them!

Chapter 11's name is explained on p. 512 and comes from the fact that he will run the hot dog company into the ground five years after their father's death.

I'd like to know how everyone rated their summer books.
I'm reading "Leeway Cottage" by Beth Gutcheon.

I read the following books this summer & I would recommend them all. Gulag was a little long & fact-filled, but very informational.
Washington's Crossing - David Hackett Fischer
Gulag - Anne Applebaum
Love and Hate in Jamestown - David Price
I just ordered the Mother Angelica book & can't wait for it to arrive.
