While Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiner Jon Thogmartin suggested yesterday that his autopsy of Terri Schiavo had cleared up most of the questions raised by critics of the court-ordered decision to starve her to death, renowned homicide detective Mark Fuhrman insists that key aspects of the case remain in doubt.
Fuhrman, whose book on the Schiavo case, "Silent Witness," is due out on June 28, told ABC Radio host Sean Hannity yesterday that the most glaring mystery about the case remains unsolved: What was the cause of Schiavo's initial collapse on the night of Feb. 25, 1990? ..... (cont'd).... ..... "We [still] do not know why she collapsed, why she was in a coma, why her brain was deprived of oxygen," Fuhrman said. --clip--

Isn't it funny how none of those "why" questions mattered until the Schindler family had a falling out with Michael Schiavo? When he refused to give them Terri's settlement money, they turned on him and started hurling accusation. Perhaps Fuhrman should investigate the Schindlers instead.
Those 70 minutes from the time Terri collapsed until the 911 call is as infamous as the 16 minutes accidentally erased from Pres. Nixon's tapes by Rose Mary Woods.
That's an odd read on the case.
Mark Fuhrman is the biggest attention whore I've seen since Morton Downey Jr.
"To say that she was not interacting is ludicrous," said Randall Terry, the anti-abortion activist who has served as a family spokesman. "It would mean that every family member and every friend that came out of that room lied to us."
Damn, Randall. If you can't believe your future constituents, who can you believe. Might as well give up on that election now.

The Schindlers sunk themselves into bankruptcy paying for Terri's rehab before the settlement - while Michael didn't kick in a dime. After the settlement Michael decided Terri no longer deserved rehab and witheld all of it. He took charge of all the rehab money and wouldn't use it as intended. When the Schindlers challenged him, he used the rehab money for the death merchant lawyers and doctors.
Getting your information from terrisfight.org, I see.......
There is absolutely nothing odd about this - he played a good role of deception up till the point that he got the money. Then he showed his true colors.
Getting your info from Dan Rather & Katie Couric?
He was a big reason why Michael Skakel was put away for 20 to life.
I'll give him my attention if it leads to more scum like Skakel being locked up for the rest of their lives...
Looks like he's putting himself back in the doghouse with these accusations.
Pity. I suspect he has been egged on by Sean Hannity.
Now that the autopsy proved that the settlement case turned out to be a fraud, why doesn't Michael give that money back?

Fuhrman: Schiavo's Collapse Still a Mystery
25, 1990? "With what we saw in the autopsy and Dr. Thogmartin's [comments], we still don't know [why she collapsed]," said the former LAPD detective, whose book "Murder in Greenwich" was credited with solving the mysterious killing of Connecticut teen Martha Moxley more than two decades after it happened.
In fact, said Fuhrman, Schiavo's autopsy proved only that her injuries remain "unexplained," especially in light of Thogmartin's conclusion that she did not have a heart attack.
"We [still] do not know why she collapsed, why she was in a coma, why her brain was deprived of oxygen," Fuhrman said.
That last question is key, he told Hannity. "If she didn't have a heart attack, and if her heart had no damage, then her heart wasn't the reason that she was deprived of oxygen. Something else occurred that deprived her of oxygen."
While Thogmartin said his autopsy showed that there was "no evidence" of strangulation, that claim may not be as conclusive as it sounds, the renowned detective said, explaining, "There are many ways that there would not be evidence [of strangulation], especially after 15 years."
"There are other ways of depriving someone of oxygen that are very soft. The most common is someone in their sleep with a pillow over their face," the former LAPD detective said. He noted also that a police choke hold could deprive someone of oxygen while leaving no evidence of strangulation.
Fuhrman declined to go into detail about other aspects of his Schiavo investigation, but he told Hannity that there are serious problems with the timeline on the night of Terri's collapse.
"The timeline will kill you every time," he said.
The only one interested in the money was Michael the Philanderer. The Schindlers said over and over again that he could keep the money. All they wanted to do was save the life of their daughter.
You're part of the death cult too then, right?
I like that graphic but Robert Blake belongs in it too. It would be hilarious if it weren't so true.
The court put the money in trust and he had to ask the court for EVERY PENNY he spent.
Find the accounting; it ALL went for Terri.
