An ultrasound image is a picture worth more than a thousand words when it comes to understanding key differences between the values that separate the United States and the Peoples Republic of China.
In the United States, ultrasound image technology has been instrumental in establishing the unborn child as a living, breathing, sensing person. Several states are in the process of enacting laws requiring abortion practitioners to offer pregnant women the chance to see an ultrasound image of their baby before performing an abortion. Congress is considering the Informed Choice Act, which allows pregnancy help clinics to receive federal grants to purchase ultrasound equipment.
Conventional wisdom predicts that the more people can discern the humanity of the unborn child, the less likely they are to want to destroy it. In fact, studies show that more than 90% of women who see an ultrasound of their unborn child choose not to abort.
In China, however ultrasound technology functions as the means to a much different end.

stupid communists simply dont understand supply and demand.
They need to balance the birth rate, so offer some significant $$$ to have a girl
Duhhhhhhhhhhh~!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Breathing", in this context, seems to be a bit of a stretch.
NAZI, Commie- all the same!
These systems are Godless and lack any value for life. You saw this with Stalin; you see it in China, Mussolini, Hitler and even Castro.
Communism and Fascism are more than just a political movement. They end up being a replacement for religion. As Marx once said, Religion is the opiate of the masses. Lenin, Stalin, Hitler
.all were the same in the end.
Am I surprised? No. Its to be expected. China subscribes to this pseudo religion; this relativistic, morally bankrupt view of the world. Their paradigm is that of a Communist. So expect nothing else other than genocide, opportunistic military endeavors like in Vietnam, supporting the Khmer Rouge, N. Korea or occupation of Tibet.
We dont want to call the spade a spade yet. Despite Taiwan, support to N. Korea, Tibet, their meddling in Vietnam, their support of the Khmer Rouge, oppression of people, torture, and and and. In the name of a buck and out of fear that others (The EU) might fill in a vacuum if we take punitive actions economically look the other way and do business with this Regime. China does not deserve Most favorable Trade Status by any reasonable persons status. But the business men running our country, the fear of us loosing the market and it going to the EU causes us to overlook details like mass executions by crushing people with tanks, people disappearing, oppression, occupation, threatening of neighbors, sweat shops, slave labor in prisons, no rule of law, genocide like this mentioned in the article.
China is just another communist state. Just unlike 30 years ago, we want to do business with this one, as do the Europeans.

Maybe they are just building an army, a very angry army.
And even with this news, the dooogooders in the US will insist that Congress must "give" some of our tax money to China to fund some of their "population control" efforts.
These are the same dooogooders who, on a different day of the week, will lecture us on the dangers to the world economy of the US budget deficit, a deficit that is funded in part *by borrowing from the Chinese* (!!) who have a mountain of dollars from all the cheap goods the US is importing from there.
Wouldn't it just be a lot better if the Chinese used some of those dollars to fund their own program? But they're not nearly the fools as some US dooogooders are.
A very angry, frustrated army.
A very angry, very frustrated, GAY army.
Make that an angry "SEXUALLY" frustrated army. LOL!
That is what will occur and God help the world when these men come of age and want marriage and everything that goes with it. Testosterone powder keg.
