Kidding aside, the press thinks anything firing ball amunition with gunpowder is an "assault weapon."

I believe long kitchen knives now also qualify as "assault weapons".

And they think a man with a gun who lives on a ranch with cow manure and gas in the lawnmower has "bomb making materials." As far as these guys are concerned, I have no problem with target shooting with various weapons. I take all of mine when I shoot too. The gas mask, who knows? I happen to have one (never took it shooting with me, though), given to me as a souveneir by a friend who thought they would be outlawed after the TWO riots in Washington.

Why would these men take a gas mask with them to the middle of nowhere to target shoot? Wouldn't they target shoot, then get the gas mask before going to the city where the targets are? If they are terrorists, they aren't smart ones.
