Al Franken And  Other Airhead Americans Beg Congressional Forum - "Stop Conservative Bias" In Media

Al Franken, Randi Rhodes (Infamous for kill-the-president skits), Eric Alterman (Center For American Progress i.e.. Communism), Traitorous David Brock and other intellectuals yukked it up at a Congressional Forum led by Representative Conyers http://www.conyersblog.us/ on Capitol Hill -Tuesday, May 24.

They, and other forsaken liberal pundits, were crying out for the Fed gov to exercise more control over the dominant conservative media which has duped a large number of audience-citizens into believing that liberals are fools, unpatriotic, and even, imagine this. . . not funny!
[A Newsweek article asserted last week that the White House has capitalized on distrust of the media to turn errors into conflagrations.]

The entire event was broadcast on C-SPAN and, of course, was staged at taxpayers expense. Although very hard to watch these so unentertaining libs cry and squeal about how they were being ignored by the American public, I masochistically viewed the C-SPAN airing in small chunks, before quickly flipping to something much funnier like Most Extreme Elimination Challenge out of Japan - and then back again. What is funny is that during the course of the Forum, the lib wonks were cracking jokes as they "testified," causing the lib congresspersons on the panel to laugh out loud. So, libs are funny, but only to lib congresspersons.

I believe Air America replaced a program on small watt station in New York which featured Caribbean Music - last year about this time. The station was a cellar dweller in the ratings so the management went with the upstart Air America, featuring that guy who could not make people laugh on Saturday Night Live during a three minute skit - Al Franken. Since the station has lost even the few listeners it had before Al's show, what recourse does Mr. Franken have but to go before Congress and plead his cause that it MUST BE THE LISTENERS FAULT?

Both the Congressional Forum members and Panel members were composed of a number of Liberal Jews and African American Baptists, whose reason for such an intimate relationship still eludes me. May have something to do with the Freedom Riders of the Civil Rights movement now Riding on the Voting Power that African Americans have amassed. Some of the Congressional members who attended include Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-IL), Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX), Rep Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Rep. Jim McDermott (D-WA), Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), and Rep. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

PANEL OF SORE LOSERS WHO ARE PETITIONING CONGRESS TO
INTERVENE AND SAVE THEIR JOBS:

Al Franken, the Al Franken Show on Air America Radio, author of Lies and the
Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right

David Brock, founder of Media Matters

Randi Rhodes, the Randi Rhodes Show on Air America Radio

Joe Madison, The Black Eagle Radio Show

Justin Webb, Senior Washington Correspondent of BBC News

Eric Alterman, Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress

Steve Rendall, media watchdog group FAIR (Fairness and Accuracy in
Reporting)

John Aravosis, America Blog

Mark Lloyd, Senior Fellow at the Center for American
Progress

Listening to these pampered leftie media types gives me terrific mood swings. One moment I'm sputtering in rage, and the next minute I'm rolling on the floor laughing out loud and peeing in my pants. I've gotta stop reading these articles.

I saw part of this and thought I was watching the Comedy Channel.

Then I saw the hostile scowl of the hateful Conyers and I realized that this was the followup to the Ohio election "forum". ;-)

These people just can't count--either votes in Ohio or leftist headlines in the New York Times and Washington Post.

ROFL! I guess they haven't read Newsweek lately or watched the biased nightly newscasts of the Big Three Plus CNN. "Conservative bias" indeed!

The problem for Err amerika is how to get their main constituency to show in the ratings.

Perhaps if there was a law that all burial vaults have radios tuned to Err amerika. Then we will see their true numbers.

Sounds like a bunch of 5 year olds kicking and screaming 'cuz they can't get what they want.

This would be fodder for SNL if Conservatives were doing the complaining!

I just checked the Spring ratings for the New York City market. Air America's station comes in at #24 overall.

They've had all this time to grow an audience and tons of free publicity from the liberal press and still their audience runs away. No wonder they're so bitter about it.

Franken is such a putz. I was behind him in the NWA check in at the airport a few years ago. Franken went ballistic (oh, what a shock!) on the woman behind the counter, and a supervisor was called over to deal with him and try to calm him down.

I was next in line, and decided I would counter his tirade by being EXTREMELY pleasant to the woman who was the target of his tirade. She picked up on it, and reciprocated. There were so many pleases, thank yous, and have a nice days exchanged between us it was almost pathetic. You could see Franken get even redder at our exchange of pleasantries.

He was still doing SNL back then, and being a native Minnesotan myself I had always given him a pass on his played out, unfunny skits. I walked away embarrassed he was from my homestate, and my opinion of him has plummetted ever since.

My chiropractor put it best when he told me "These people live so much in their own world and associate so exclusively with their own kind that they come to the conclusion their own s*** doesn't stink."

If one did not know better, one would think that these pontificators of putrid political pollution are trying to abolish the Second Amendment, wouldn't one?

I guess stewart needs to accept the fact that, "He's not good enough. He's not smart enough, and doggone it, people don't like him."

Oh I get it...their failure is not their fault. I listened once for a few minutes. I'd rather have a root canal.

Sigh. They just don't get it. You can lead a horse to water, but you just can't make him drink. This is what comes from decades of intellectual bankruptcy. They have no good ideas to offer, so they have to try to force people to accept them.
