I think you'll find you get better receptivity by NOT using ALL CAPS.

Here's the letter I sent to "Crash" McCain last night.

Senator McCain,

Did you think you were going to be the hero at the end of the game last night Senator? No, you were put on the field to run out the clock and save the lead.

It was late in the 4th Quarter, the Repubs were leading the Democrat Socialists by 5. Tragedy struck when Third String Quarterback John McCain fumbled the ball on the 10 yard line allowing Democrat Socialist Harry Reid to recover the ball in mid stride and run unmolested 90 yards to the opposing goal.

In front of a partisan homefield crowd the victorious "Lightfoot" Harry Reid was carried off the field by his veteran teammates Ted "Swimmer" Kennedy, Pat "Leaky" Leahy, Dick "Dick" Durbin, Ben "Ozzie" Nelson, Charles "Junior" Schumer, and Barbara "Stankho" Boxer to shouts of "They lose again! And, "Give 'em another wedgie Harry!" And "Thanks again McCain!"

Coach Bush was last seen berating the offense for not holding their lead and losing the game. Team Captain George Allen had to physically smack the smirk off John "Crash" McCain's face. McCain was heard saying "Well. We almost won. What's the big deal?" McCain, Warner, Dewine, Graham, Chafee, Collins, and Snowe were immediately cut by team owners and told they had received their last checks from this team.

Shame on you Senator. It looks to this sports fan like you threw the game. Enjoy your retirement.

yep...the McCain McCaveins. Good job. Listened to Dobson tonight on H&C. He did a good job defending his stance and he'd be proud of you.

If you sent this concoction, not to mention your yelling nobody will pay attention, guaranteed!

Hate to burst your bubble, but you have to do better than this!

Try a different approach, calm, concise, to the point without name calling.
It will get you far more attention than the one you just posted!

I sympathize with your sentiments; but I don't think the tone or the capital letters are effective. A more businesslike message would be more likely to be read.
