FWIW, textloads a helluva lot faster than accessing a link, since the link invariably contains graphics. Since I am using dial-up, I almost never check out the links. Admin probably wouldn't mind letting anyone know which method of posting they prefer us to use.

That's fine, but for years and years here on this forum, dumping pages and pages and pages of your pet articles into a thread has constituted a thread hijacking. That's what links and excerpts are for. It's not David Lane's thread to take over, like force-feeding a turkey to a canary. It's just courtesy.
