Actually, the MSM has started digging through FR threads for comments such as yours. (Though, why the don't just write their own, is beyond me...)

How many Afghanis read Newsweek? Obviously, someone actively seeking to provoke violence shared that little tidbit with the mosques in Afghanistan.

Isn't it illegal to talk to the press about presumably classified stuff? Why doesn't the FBI try to track this A-hole down and prosecute him for talking at all whether the story is true or not?

I agree. This type of security leak has to be stopped. This is as good a example as I can think of. It is not only irresponsible but illegal. This time it got people killed.

If they do expose the idiot, I sure hope he gets what he deserves. Say about 10 to 20 at Leavenworth! Should at least be a manslaughter charge!

Think the MSM will learn anything? NOT!

You know, it's a bit much to blame Newsweek for the dead. That blame is deserved by whoever did the killing. (Let me guess: Islamic Swine?) Do you blame rape victims too?

I don't understand why everyone is so upset with Newsweak. Anyone with half a brain, knows that they are a lousy excuse for a magazine. The problem is, the folks rioting don't use the half a brain that they do have.

Ten years ago, Newsweak would have gotten away with it. I love the Internet.

Include talk radio. Watch out if the Hildabast gets the top job.

Nuts, the whole lot of them. The Bible is not the Word.

"There is no God but God."

I can't help but think it is a bit pathetic when that is the most profound concept of ones religion, and its not even original.

Yesterday alone, officials or Islamic leaders in Bangladesh, Lebanon and Egypt condemned the desecration of the Koran and called for the US to take action.

Well, I CONDEMN the Islamic leaders and people who use the Koran as an excuse to commit cold-blooded murder of innocent people! So, stick it.

The words are holy. The book itself is simply a pile of paper and ink

You be sure and ping me when you see the Holy words of the Bible free-floating in space, and not written on paper. I have to see that.

What a statement, wow.

I'm with you...while I wouldn't like it if someone desecrated the bible I wouldn't kill people over it. I would expect they would have to answer to God for that. As long as I show respect for my bible then it's not my problem.

But then again this story was created to cause a riot in the muslim world, cause we all know how peaceful they are. Therefore those who intentionally did this have as much blood on their hands as the muslim rioters.
