...forced to declare? From what I have seen of Condi, I think she would be genuinely upset at the desecration of anything like a flag, Bible, Talmud or Quran, etc. She respects, deeply, things that are sacred to good people.
Another stupid MSM myth...
The words are holy. The book itself is simply a pile of paper and ink.
I'm sure I-kiss-em-off is just heartbroken over the folks he helped murder.
Offhand comments like this can result in the deaths of innocent people.
Yeah, all those Muslims reading FR might get upset! Geez.
I guess that means they won't buy newsweek magazine.
Yeah. I'm sure you're real upset you %*(^$#*)@!
By analogy, then, the blood of Christ is just the blood of any other man.
In orthodox religion, to burn or destroy The Book is to destroy the Word of God. Ergo, in Christianity, we have the Ark of the Covenant, and the Word made flesh in Christ. The muslims claim la illa illa'ulla. There is no God but God.
You know, a while ago a NY museum had an exhibition of Mary plastered in dung. And I remember an exhibit of a crucifix upside down in a jar of urine.
This really makes me mad! I think I'll go to NY, run around, scream, and kill people. /sarcasm off
To repeat explosive roomers that another nation sacred writtings were trashed or flush down a toilet (knowning many of that faith are fanatics was reckless....it should have been carefully examined and respectfully spoken about.....as not to cause harm to the innocent!
This is what is wrong with those in politics, corporartion and the media today's generation do not think about what they say could harm many......just from their free speech.....it is gift that this nation has but so many abuse it by their lack self-control as to weight the situation if I do or say this who or what could it effect.....
But you won't, because you're civilized...
I'm sure Chris "this war" Matthews is sooooo disappointed that this story was a bunch of BS.
Newsweekly World News!
I'm really not sure why this particular mention would spark riots where others have not. Something doesn't feel quite right here, given the speed it moved. It's almost as though they were waiting for a signal to riot. But I'm probably reading too much into it.
This actually reminds me a little of the Rodney King Riots.
At any rate, while Newsweek isn't solely to blame (the people that spilled blood have to take responsibility for murder), Newsweek does have blood on its hands. This wasn't a mistake. They, just as the rest, have tried to defeat America from the start of this war. They have hyped any allegations that could hurt America and this Administration. They knew exactly what they were doing. If they were too stupid to realize people could die because of their political games in print, that is no excuse. People are dead.
I think those that murdered innocents should be hung, but I wouldn't be adverse to sending Isikoff and those directly involved in this story over to the M.E. to be held to account.
I wonder how many Bibles were incinerated at the WTC on 911? Think anyone even cared?
The ones that are rioting are the radicals that are causing all the trouble in the world, they should be targeted for extermination!
