You listened to those too? I thought they were hilarious!
"The fossilized bone implements bear traces of human beating, testifying that humans, not apes, lived inside the mountain cave, said Qiu Zhanxiang"
Human beating? Fruedian slip?
The Chinese have been trying to show that humanity arose in Asia (China) for quite some time now. Any "discoveries" about human origins reported by Chinese authourities are susupect.
The Chinese would very much like to not be from Africa. Imagine the boost the pan Sinicism that would come from any acceptance of the idea of a "separate" origin ...
This could help Vade's "out of Romania" theory. I can't evaluate whether this is worth a ping to the list. I'll let you guys decide. Lemme know.
According to the Master of Sinanju:
G-d decided to create men, so he used the dust of the earth to create the form, and popped it into an oven. He pulled the first one out too soon -- it was too pale.
So he created another one and popped it into an oven. He let this one go too long, and when he pulled it out, it was burnt - black.
Having learned from this experience, he created a third one, popped it into the oven, and pulled it out just in time for it to be golden tan. He called this just right and gave it life. Thus the first asian was born.
Of course, this was in Korea, not China.
Oak Hay... Thanks for revealing the absolute truth, and I now
stand corrected. Therefore... anyone with an ounce of brains
knows that planet Earth was not created more than 100,000 years
ago... rather, this young and feisty Earth is only 6,418 years old.
Period, end of argument !!! ;-))
Well, heck, somebody has to know. Why not me? ;)
Trident!
Ancient West Virginian skull found in China cave!
3 lousy teeth and NO other bones????
More fun!!
How can it be a hypothosis and a fact at the same time?
I guess the problem with being incredibly erudite and educated, almost perfect, nearly to the point of omniscience, is that when you DO make a teeny tiny little mistake...
We all have problems. Yours sounds like it must be all but unbearable. But you handle it so well.
I always wondered why I liked moo shoo pork so much ....
Especially, Gladly, the Cross-Eyed Bear.
The Scars of Evolution"The most remarkable aspect of Todaro's discovery emerged when he examined Homo Sapiens for the 'baboon marker'. It was not there... Todaro drew one firm conclusion. 'The ancestors of man did not develop in a geographical area where they would have been in contact with the baboon. I would argue that the data we are presenting imply a non-African origin of man millions of years ago.'"
