The ACLU and the Death of America
The American Legion ^ | 2005 | Steven J. Newton

Posted on 04/25/2005 3:16:31 PM PDT by Steve Newton

Hi Everyone:

A cross honoring the fallen of World War I was placed on a mountain top by a private citizen in 1934.

President Clinton issued an order incorporating the site into the Mojave National Preserve and in 2000; the ACLU filed a Federal Suit.

It is a simple cross consisting of two pipes tied together but now it is covered and will have to be removed or destroyed.

In my opinion, the ACLU has now become THE most dangerous threat to our way of life this country has ever seen. By tearing down our values they are attempting to destroy us from within.

How soon will all the crosses on veteran’s graves be ordered removed?

But, that’s just my opinion. Sorry Folks. Just a little angry right now.

Picture and article in the American Legion Magaine.

Thankfully I don't see them having a chance at this because they allow all religious symbolsor none if the family so chooses. Stars of David and presumably a Crescent...are there any Crescents at Arlington? That would be interesting.

Mel

I just can't believe this crap. And I don't understand why we can't stop them. Acording to the article a lot of Hollywood money finds it's way into the ACLU.

One way or the other those people want to run the country. THEIR way.

My, I'm upset. Sorry my friend.

We must immediately change the following names: SAINT Augustine, Los ANGELES, SAN Diego, SAN Antonio, etc. If we don't, the ACLU will use OUR TAX MONEY to sue us.

Nothing new here.

The ACLU is populated by a bunch of heathens.

IMHO:

The Democrat Party is the largest organized crime syndicate in the U.S. ---

The ACLU is the largest organized communist, anti-American organization in the U.S. ---

Who owned the mountain when the private citizen put the cross there in 1934?

You have forgotten San Francisco, St. Louis and St. Joe. Mo. Mt. St. Helens, St. Ignatius, Mt., St. Petersburg, Fl. and on and on and on! What will they do? This country was settled, established and defended by Christians!

I agree with you.

The ACLU has become over the years more dangerous to American traditions than any other radical group.

Agreed

Did you know that the founder of the ACLU was a socialist?

Founded in 1920.

Name of founder? Roger BALDWIN

I'm curious about how a piece of private property ends up in a national park. Even the Clinton administration couldn't do that without having the Federal government buy the land first.

Yes

It's like they slipped up on us and bit us in the butt.

But this time. This time we can't let them get away with it.

We need to hit them in the pocket book somehow.
