On a recent thread, there were false rumors being spread that I had written an opus.
Although I denied it, I find that in my current situation, I should make a more formal anouncement, just to avoid any confusion.

Yep, we've had a great run here in Vegas...
And the monorail they have is really cool!
But dang it... ya just can't grow good tomatoes in your back yard around here.

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go

That would be the EASY way of doing it.
Me... well I'm gonna drive the whole way...
And I'm taking my cat with me...
I'm figuring on 3 days at a leisurely pace,
stopping frequently to let her scratch in the sand.

Let's see now... I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but have since lived in North Carolina, Maryland, Kentucky, Michigan and Nevada. So Texas will be the 7^th state that I've lived in.
But 2 of my brothers and their families live in the same town we're moving to, so it's going to be like getting the family back together again.

Time for me to unplug my computer and pack it in a box.
Not really sure when I'll be back online, but I would guess it'll take about 2~3 weeks to get unpacked and settled, plant some tomatoes, take a ride on the Houston light-rail, and line-up a new ISP (geeze, I hope I can use my cable modem, I'd HATE to go back to dial-up.)

Anyway, have fun!! and see ya'all in a couple weeks!!!
