Please, Senator, Don't Go Wobbly

Dear Senator Santorum,

This is not something that I do often, but I'm writing now because I'm very concerned that you and the other Senate Republicans are GOING TO CAVE to the likes of Dingy Harry, Leaky Leahy, Chappaquiddick Ted, and the Hildabeast on the issue of the President's judicial nominations. It will be a sad day for America if these ANTI-AMERICAN COMMUNIST SYMPATHIZERS whose leftist agenda was overwhelmingly rejected by the voters last November are able to prevent good constructionist judges from being seated on the federal bench.

The recent judicial HOMICIDE of a disabled woman in Florida (which I commend your efforts on Terri Schaivo's behalf to prevent) points up the reasons why it's so important that conservative judges that interpret law instead of decreeing it by fiat need to be installed. Time after time, these unelected, unaccountable OLIGARCHS override the will of the people expressed at the ballot box to advance their own (usually socialist) agendas. This poisons the tree of self-government planted by our Founding Fathers when they threw off the chains of the British Empire so long ago.

Senator, I implore you to take a stand. Draw a line in the sand. Be a leader and ignore the polls. Explain how important it is to your fellow Pennsylvanians and every American just how important this issue is. Don't allow the Communists in the Senate that masquerade as Democrats continue to ram their collectivist agenda down America's throat via the actions of unelected leftist judges. We need Judge Priscilla Owens NOW. We need U.N. Ambassador John Bolton NOW. We need EVERY ONE OF THE PRESIDENT'S NOMINEES NOW.

Once again, please, Senator, DON'T GO WOBBLY!

Thank you,

Santorum is not the idealist he once was. He has a large familiar, thus cash flow problems. That's my take

I hope you used more adult terms to describe the various dem senators in the actual letter. Using childish terms like that is a good way to get ignored, on the assumption that you do not have anything constructive to offer.

Not to nag, but I wouldn't have used the nicknames. It would help your letter be taken more seriously if you didn't. Thanks for writing it though.

Maybe the nicknames were a bit over the top, but considering their voting records, "Communist" is entirely appropriate. We on the right need to get over the MSM-inspired fear of being labeled as "McCarthyists" and call these traitors for what they are.

I read where "internal polls" have led to the change in strategy.

I wonder how the idea of weak, unprincipled politicans who cower in front of perfectly predictable negative, slanted media attacks and who betray those who supported them did in their "internal polls."

Did you actually write this to the Senator? If so, you wasted your time and energy.

Fact is, the GOP Senators have shown us time and time again how they have no spine, how they are too eager to compromise and capitulate with the RATS even though they are in the majority and know damned well the RATS would never do and have never done the same when the tables were turned.

That's why you will never see the "Constitutional option" put into practice. It's why I am absolutely fed up with the Republican party.

I have been dumping on the Republicans all day here - I don't enjoy it, but what can I do? I gotta call it like I see it.

the Dems usually self-destruct by doing something stupid or overplaying their hand. But not always.

We have to be really organized. Always. And united!
