A new Islamic advocacy group in Boca Raton is under scrutiny for its ties to William W. Baker, a former chairman of the neo-Nazi political party of presidential candidate David Duke who was run out of town last year when he attempted to speak at Florida Atlantic University.
Local Jewish and civic leaders said Friday they were alarmed that the Assadiq Islamic Education Foundation, whose headquarters are listed at 831 E. Palmetto Park Road in Boca, had invited Baker back to Boca as featured speaker at an April 30 banquet at the Boca Marriott. Invited by Muslim students to speak at Florida Atlantic University in April 2004, Bakers first visit to the city was cancelled amid popular protest.
Id like to give [the Assadiq Foundation] the benefit of the doubt and say they got snookered, but this is the second attempt at getting Baker into Boca Raton, so they have to be aware of his reputation, said Bill Gralnick, southeast regional director of the American Jewish Committee.
Leaders of the Anti-Defamation League also protested last years visit by Baker, on whom they have a long anti-Semitic file. Now head of Christians and Muslims for Peace (CAMP), Baker chaired the neo-Nazi Populist Party and organized its national convention in 1984.
For me, its alarm bells, Gralnick said. Baker is in league with Islamicist elements that are probing the defenses of American Jewish communities. He makes money off them by being their white Anglo-Saxon mouthpiece who says bad things about Jews.
Sayed Mohammad Jawad Al-Qazwini, listed on the Assadiq Web site as the groups Imam and founder, did not answer media inquiries Friday.

Well, here's Boca Raton, Islamists, and a middle-aged, disgruntled white male ~ let's see if the FBI figures out that their "profile" for the anthrax attacker, as well as the "profile" developed by Freepers work together to identify this gang.
Lefty, Bush-hating, PC Boca'ites getting what they deserve. Perhaps Mr. Representative Wexler should look into it....

Thanks for the ping. The Duke connection is interesting. Other US Nazi groups were networking with Qaddafi, the PLO, and the Ayatollah at the time the article says Baker was chairing the Populist Party, so there may be clues to an older, wider web there.
I do a lot of work in Boca Raton and let me tell you, it isn't the Fairfax district of Los Angeles but there are a lot of Jews in Boca. And I gotta believe they aren't gonna like having a Mosque in amongst them.
But the likely hood of them raising up to smite the Muslims is minimal cause they aren't too militant there.
To comfy driving their lexus and GERMAN luxury cars.
Boca Raton is the most heavily Jewish area in the most heavily Jewish County in the nation. How these Islamofascists have gotten away with this BS down there is beyond me.
Add to that the "suicide bomber" Tim McVeigh.
There's definitely a pattern here, but will the FBI detect it?
My money's on the terrorists with this one ~ the FBI wants a scientist who's disgruntled, and all those guys used to work for the Soviet Union. Right now they have jobs.
It's not like the "Never Again" crowd is wondering around you know.
BTW, very near to AMI (down wind I believe) you will find a college that's probably half to 3/4 Jewish students.
The contamination in the AMI building is so dense that those folks are lucky only one person died!
Except for the fact that AMI publishes the three most influential newspapers in North America (by Middle Eastern standards), I'd almost think we had a misdelivery here!
