Terri Schiavo case pertains to life, choice, due process

I honestly can't think of one ordinary citizen who captured the nation's attention so quickly as Terri Schiavo. Barnum and Bailey's would be jealous at the three-ring circus her story created down south. Parents vs. Husband. Religion vs. Family. Values vs. Law. So many issues surrounded her last days, and so much anger enveloped one person's life.

Michael Schiavo, the husband of Mrs. Schiavo, has started a new life and has a girlfriend and kids. He insists that Mrs. Schiavo told him that she did not want to be kept alive through artificial means. Even though she went into this state after cardiac arrest in 1990, Mr. Schiavo waited until 1998 to petition the court to get her feeding tube removed. Judge Greer ruled in 2000 that the tube can indeed be removed. After a slew of appeals and years passing, that leaves us at the events of the past three weeks.

On March 18, 2005, Judge Greer ordered the feeding tube to be removed forthwith. He, a judge in the judicial branch of government, ordered a cessation of feeding for a person. The instant an order of that nature was given, this entire case deserved a fresh new look. The 14th Amendment to the Constitution states, "Nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law." If the State has deprived Mrs. Schiavo of a feeding tube, due process of the law would dictate a fresh review of the case. Not just looking at the previous ruling and then exercising stare decisis by letting it stand. An actual full review of the facts. The tube was not ordered out of her by previous courts, instead it was up to Mr. Schiavo if he wanted it removed. Now that the State removed it for him, this case is now an animal of a different breed.

All sorts of allegations had been floating around that Mr. Schiavo would ask caretakers, "Is she dead yet?" Also, Mrs. Schiavo had suffered mysterious bone fractures that were allegedly caused by Mr. Schiavo.

Are these allegations true? I honestly have no idea, as they have not been weighed on their face by the criminal justice system. However, in order to determine guilt or innocence of the accused, time must be given to review the case at hand. Maybe her caretaker, Mr. Schiavo, was incapable of acting on her behalf because he abused her. We simply don't know. In order to make the proper decision in this case, a de novo hearing should have been granted and the spirit of its purpose should have remained intact. It didn't.

I know a lot of people are pissed off that Congress intervened. My girlfriend, politically apathetic in nature, was so infuriated that they convened on a Sunday to do something, you could visually see her blood boil. There is a method to their madness, however. In the checks and balances system, all three branches of government watch over each other and can hold each other accountable for their mistakes.

Congressional Republicans and Democrats believed that the judicial branch of the system was failing. Not necessarily failing one person, but failing as a whole, to save the lives of mentally incapacitated patients. They believed that if Terri Schiavo would be allowed to be dehydrated, then it would set a precedent for future actions.

Congress believed that if they intervened in the Schiavo case, they could give an order to a federal court to review the case from a fresh perspective, thus protecting the civil rights of other incapacitated people as well. Sure, they could be fixing social security or health care, but their intervention was not necessarily for the benefit of one, but for the benefit of a whole.

The spark of life is so revered in our society that we have to give convicted criminals tons of appeals before we carry out an execution. Once you extinguish that spark, it can never be relit. You may think that due process was fully given to Mrs. Schiavo, but think again. Convicted murderers are almost on their deathbed before DNA evidence clears them of all wrong-doing. There could have been new evidence to show that Mr. Schiavo was either lying, or he abused his wife. If that evidence was found to be true at a new hearing, this case would have been over. But that brand new hearing was denied. Due process was not given. Contrary to irresponsible media reports, Mrs. Schiavo was not brain dead, and it is questionable whether she was in a persistant vegitative state; a question that should be answered in a de novo hearing.

Sure, Congress could have been legislating a new-fangled highway system ... but to protect the class of individuals whose mental capacities are diminished is important work, contrary to what some may think. Even though two branches of our government ordered a new trial and placed life over choice, one branch has managed to overpower them. Judge Greer, through the principle of stare decisis, was more powerful than the President of the United States, the Governor of Florida, and the state and national congresses.

That is the failure of checks and balances, and that is the failure of the government to protect Terri Schiavo. =====

She worked side by side with Judge Greer (former county commissioner) George Felos, "Do you want to die, do you want to die", was Board of Director of said Hospice when Terri was committed. ***I know this because a personal friend of mine from New York, is the CEO and President of a Hospice.

Jay Wolfson as a Doctor, GAL to Terri Schindler

Jay Wolfson was presented as a doctor with the credentials to define the nature of Terri's disability. He should never have been appointed briefly as her guardian ad lit-em. He is not a medical doctor. He holds a doctorate in public health from the University of Texas, a law degree from Stetson University College of Law, a master’s degree in public health from Indiana University, a master’s degree in history from New York University, and an undergraduate degree in history from the University of Illinois. He is now a professor at the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida. Notice that an M.D. is conspicuously absent. He is not clinically trained to diagnose medical conditions. His own honest and decent colleagues, out of the state "of Soul Broker Body State", State of Florida, busted him after he went on Night line and told Ted he was A Doctor when talking about the case.

It looks like a lengthy tirade, rehash of the same old stuff that charlatan doctors & shysters write regarding Terri's case. But, when examined closely, this is a can of worms. And, this was written by a Professor and Lawyer!

Here is just one of Jay Wolfson's stunts, quote:

"2. Is there feasibility and value in swallowing tests and swallowing therapy given the totality of circumstances?
a. Yes. There is feasibility and value in swallowing tests and swallowing therapy being administered if the parties agree in advance as to how the results of these tests will be used with respect to the decision about Theresa's future. If the parties do not agree in advance as to how the tests will be used, then the court must be prepared to once again make a final judgment on the matter. Given the history of the case, this would not, in and of itself, assure a resolution, and is not, therefore, deemed either feasible or of value to Theresa Schiavo without prior agreement." -- end of quote.

Wolfson is saying that if the parties (Mikey vs. Schindlers) do not agree ahead on what decision would be taken based on the results of swallow tests, then there is no point in court's ordering the tests. Wolfson knows damn well that Mikey Schiavo would NEVER agree on the tests, so Wolfson is recommending to court not to order the test. As he says - there would be NO VALUE TO TERRI.

Well, well, well, Professor! How about this value: If tests proved that Terri could swallow, then they would not have been allowed to kill her, right? How is this for VALUE!

Now, if this is not a neglect of Guardian duties, then what is?

This is only one sample of that nonsense the Professor wrote. He keeps repeating she is in vegetative state, she had a cardiac arrest, an on and on. None of these are for certain and he certainly has no expertise to make these determinations. With guardians like Wolfson, who needs enemies?

subpoenas, it was not a special interest case? It was because they had
been given evidence that the state courts had broken several laws and that
there needed to be an investigation. Our Legislative branch has equal
power with the executive and judiciary branches of our government. Our
Judicial Ethics committee in Congress has the DUTY to investigate
wrongdoing within the Judiciary. Congress was performing their
constitutional duty in an attempt to force the Florida Sixth Circuit
Judge, George Greer, to obey the law. He refused! When the state courts
refused to honor the subpoenas, Congress passed a law for the federal
courts to look at the case from the beginning and make a proper ruling.
Instead of examining the entire case, and finding the tainted rulings, and
the broken laws that would cost this woman her life, the federal courts
refused to look at anything. This case was over fifteen years long. There
was no reason for the Federal Courts to refuse to investigate their own.
In fact, it was their duty to do just that.

I hope you know your spouse very well, Laci Petersen and Terri Schiavo can tell you, make sure!!! that the reason he needed the money was for intensive therapy and
rehabilitation for his wife? Did you know that photos and videos of her
interacting with her family and Michael were shown during the malpractice
suit, to prove that she was alert and able to improve? Did you know that
almost immediately after the money was deposited, Terri's husband tried to
have her die by denying treatment for the same infection that killed the
Pope? By posting a DNR order. By forbidding ANY therapy or rehabilitation. Read the court records, you reckless Birkenstock whimps. AFRAID TO LOOK? You could be NEXT~! Can anyone explain why the paramedics say that they found Terri Schiavo lying "faced down" halfway out of the bathroom. (I have read all the original documents which are posted on the internet).

If you found your young healthy wife/husband faced down and unresponsive after hearing her/him hit the floor with a "thud", would you (knowing CPR but never using it on her) leave her/him there faced down, tick, tick, tick, go upstairs and get her brother tick,tick,tick,(call her dad, not call 911) and wait, tick, tick, tick, with Terri still lying faced down half out of the bathroom, for the paramedics to find her that way?

If you didn't know what caused her to fall wouldn't you roll her over and look at her face, clear her airway etc?

My limited understanding is that the brain can go 4 minutes without oxygen without permanent damage, 9 minutes and you are close to death or dead.

MS heard the thud and got to Terri within the time it takes to run from the bedroom to the bathroom in a small apartment, so presumably he could have prevented most of the anoxia by administering CPR. Yet he did not. He did not even roll her over to look at her face, clear her airway or try to talk to her.

Today is day 17 since he had Terri cremated. He is court ordered to tell her parents were her remains, are, he has not done it YET. Where is that contempt of court charge or that warrant to arrest him?

Dr. Hamilton, Orthopedic Surgeon, consults Terri a short time after her collapse, on February 25, 1990

While Terri was a patient at Northside Hospital, unbeknownst to Terri’s family, and according to the Northside Hospital discharge summary, Dr. Hamilton, an Orthopedic Surgeon, consulted Terri on May 6, 1990. This was just two months after Terri collapsed (February 25, 1990) and just three days before Terri was discharged from Northside Hospital.

Michael Schiavo, acting as Terri’s guardian and in control of what medical information was revealed, and also any medical decisions regarding Terri’s treatment, did not report this information to anyone in Terri’s family. Therefore, Terri’s family did not have any knowledge that Dr. Hamilton consulted Terri or what was disclosed as a result of Dr. Hamilton’s examination of Terri.

It was only a year later, on March 5, 1991, after Terri was demonstrating painful reactions to physical therapy treatment, that the Mediplex therapist director ordered Terri to have a bone scan.

This bone scan taken of Terri on March 5, 1991, revealed a healed broken right femur bone and healed bone fractures in Terri’s ribs, pelvis, spine and ankle. The injuries more than likely occurred at the time of Terri collapse. The radiologist (Dr. Walker) concluded that "Terri has a history of trauma" and presumed "that the other multiple areas of abnormal activity also relate to previous trauma."

It wasn’t until November 2002 that Terri’s family discovered this information regarding the multiple fractures found throughout her body.

Michael Schiavo never disclosed that Terri had a bone scan image taken just a year after her collapse to anyone in Terri’s family and, as mentioned, never disclosed that Terri was consulted by an Orthopedic Surgeon.

At that instant a clear, distinctly independent and slightly stern voice said to me, Be careful what you think. You are more powerful than you realize." This thought was after Mr. Felos believed he could control an airplane telepathically! Felos today: "She looked beautiful . . . In all the years I've seen Mrs. Schiavo, I've never seen such a look of peace and beauty upon her." Look at the The Hospice Board Member,George Felos and Michael Schivao's attorney own words from his book. George Felos' book, "Litigation as Spiritual Practice" (Blue Dolphin Publishing, 2002) contains the following quotes. About the Jews, George Felos wrote, "The Jewish people, long ago in their collective consciousness, agreed to play the role of the lamb whose slaughter was necessary to shock humanity into a new moral consciousness. Their sacrifice saved humanity at the brink of extinction and propelled us into a new age." (pg 240) Felos further wrote, "If our minds can conceive of an uplifting Holocaust, can it be so diffucult to look another way at the slights and injuries and abuses we perceive were inflicted upon us?" (pg 240) Describing the period he was separated from his ex-wife, "that weekend I experienced rage. Savage, unadulterated, and murderous rage." (pg 6) Felos wrote about his ex-wife, "To her, I seemed unattractive, sexually unexciting, balding, boring, and just not enough fun to be with....she didn't need me anymore. For her, marriage to me inflicted a fate worse than death. She admitted that for the past year or so she had wished for my death, and whenever I flew hoped the plane would crash." (pg 7) About his anger towards his ex-wife, "I was on fire, fueled by thoughts of bludgeoning and tearing her apart." (pg 23) Describing the period he was recuperating from his divorce, "it consisted mostly of dreams of being tormented in some inferno." (pg 27) "Mrs Browning, do you want to die? Do you want to die? - I nearly shouted as I continued to peer into her pools of strikingly beautiful but incognizant blue. It felt so eerie." (pg 63) "Whatever your opinion about tube feeding, the hard fact was it now stood between Mrs. Browning and her death." (pg 64) About Mrs. Estelle Browning "...I carried with me the resolute determination to sever the artificial cord that bound Estelle Browning to this earthly realm. Her agonized cry for release ran though my mind over and over again, and I felt our SPIRITUAL BOND." (pg 76) While on a plane trip, Felos thought "I wonder what it would be like to die right now?" (pg 181) Felos felt that God told him, "You are more powerful than you realize." (pg 182) About the Estelle Browning case, "I still got a kick that evening seeing myself on the TV news, notwithstanding my frequently displayed countenance in the media of late." "If I had to urinate, I didn't wait until the next commercial, I immediately got up and went. On the first urge to defecate, I left for the bathroom rather than making one more phone call." (pg 292) "I can truly say my wife was enamored with me. I suppose power and success really are potent aphrodisiacs-as my spouse had made particularly evident our previous night at the Governor's Inn. " (pg 246) This is the kind of person the Florida Supreme Court sided with when determining that Michael Schiavo had the "right" to kill Terri by starvation, over the pleas of Terri's parents, who have agreed to accept all financial responsibility for her future care if only their daughter were returned to them. ********************************************* I read the actual court records, I read the pleadings. I researched the Expert death advocates agenda and what they stand for. I watched Terri's video's and saw her react to the bad taste of the vinegar swab. She reacted just like you would if somebody stuck vinegar in your mouth. These are videos Judge Greer refused to look at. Ask the Schinders. Look at the doctor that made that diagnosis and what he thinks about Constitutional Rights of American's. The dotors that disagreed with his diagnosis were not Judge Greer's choice to make his decision on "Right o KIll" Terri. Dr. Cranford examined Terri on one occasion, for approximately 45 minutes Dr. Cranford struck Terri very hard on the forehead between her eyes. Terri recoiled and moaned, seemingly in pain. In his court testimony, Cranford dismissed the reaction and moan as a “reflex.” In published articles, including a 1997 op-ed in the Minneapolis–St. Paul Star Tribune, he has advocated the starvation of Alzheimer’s patients. He has described PVS patients as indistinguishable from other forms of animal life. *He has said that PVS patients and others with brain impairment lack personhood and should have no constitutional rights." Perusing the case literature and articles surrounding the “right to die” and PVS, one will see Dr. Cranford’s name surface again and again. In almost every case, he is the one claiming PVS, and advocating the cessation of nutrition and hydration. In the cases of Paul Brophy, Nancy Jobes, Nancy Cruzan, and Christine Busalucci, Cranford was the doctor behind the efforts to end their lives. Each of these people was brain-damaged but not dying; nonetheless, he advocated death for all, by dehydration and starvation. Nancy Cruzan did not even require a feeding tube: She could be spoon-fed. But Cranford advocated denying even that, saying that even spoon-feeding constituted “medical treatment” that could be licitly withdrawn. In cases where other doctors don’t see it, Dr. Cranford seems to have a knack for finding PVS. Cranford also diagnosed Robert Wendland as PVS. He did so in spite of the fact that Wendland could pick up specifically colored pegs or blocks and hand them to a therapy assistant on request. He did so in spite of the fact that Wendland could operate and maneuver an ordinary wheelchair with his left hand and foot, and an electric wheelchair with a joystick, of the kind that many disabled persons (most famously Dr. Stephen Hawking) use. Dr. Cranford dismissed these abilities as meaningless. Fortunately for Wendland, the California supreme court was not persuaded by Cranford’s assessment. Expert witnesses in court are supposed to be unbiased: disinterested in the outcome of the case. Part of the procedure in qualifying expert witnesses is establishing that they are objective and unbiased. But given Dr. Cranford’s history of advocacy in the “right to die” and euthanasia movements, and given his track record of almost always coming down on the side of PVS and removal of nutrition and hydration, one might question his objectivity. Indeed, the Schindlers’ attorneys attempted to do so in the 2002 evidentiary hearing at which Cranford testified, but went unheard. International Task Force on Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide submitted amicus curiae (friend of the court) briefs in the appellate proceedings in Terri’s case, demonstrating Cranford’s bias in detail. But these arguments also seemed to fall on deaf ears. Some neurologists who also consult in legal cases were not surprised at the handling of Dr. Cranford’s expert testimony. In theory, they said, the expert witness is supposed to be objective, but, as Dr. Bell explained, “the way it really works is that an attorney carefully selects an expert that will give him the outcome he desires.” He related that he has been asked by attorneys to serve as an expert. “I have looked over medical records,” he said, “and told attorneys what I thought.” But on occasion, he said, his opinion was “obviously not what they wanted to hear” and “they moved on to another expert.” Bell acknowledged that Cranford is “a highly accomplished and experienced speaker,” but said that in him the court “likely found a highly prejudiced expert.” Neurologists who are familiar with diagnosing and treating PVS and other brain injuries know that PVS is a notoriously difficult diagnosis to make. It requires a great deal of time spent with the patient over several days or weeks. The reason for this, as Dr. Bell explained, is that brain-injured patients have severely disrupted sleep/wake cycles. Dr. Mack Jones, a neurologist in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., added that patients with severe brain injury will have greatly varying levels of alertness: “Two independent examiners may get an entirely different impression depending on when and how long he/she has spent performing the examination. For example, one examiner may unknowingly attempt to evaluate the patient during a stage of sleep. Another examiner, by chance, may find a more responsive patient simply because [the patient is] now more aroused.” Dr. Morin concurred, saying that in his experience “the attention of brain-injured patients is very erratic,” and that because of this he has “seen inadequate assessments even by experienced neurologists.” Because of these difficulties, the American Academy of Neurology has made it clear that it can take months for a physician to establish with confidence the diagnosis of PVS. NOTE: A 1996 British Medical Journal study, conducted at England’s Royal Hospital for Neurodisability, concluded that there was a "43-percent error rate in the diagnosis of PVS". Inadequate time spent by specialists evaluating patients was listed as a contributing factor for the high incidence of errors. Now ask yourself: Do you believe THEM?

Jay Wolfson as a Doctor, GAL to Terri Schindler

Jay Wolfson was presented as a doctor with the credentials to define the nature of Terri's disability. He should never have been appointed briefly as her guardian ad lit-em. He is not a medical doctor. He holds a doctorate in public health from the University of Texas, a law degree from Stetson University College of Law, a master’s degree in public health from Indiana University, a master’s degree in history from New York University, and an undergraduate degree in history from the University of Illinois. He is now a professor at the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida. Notice that an M.D. is conspicuously absent. He is not clinically trained to diagnose medical conditions. His own honest and decent colleagues, out of the state "of Soul Broker Body State", State of Florida, busted him after he went on Night line and told Ted he was A Doctor when talking about the case.

If the parties do not agree in advance as to how the tests will be used, then the court must be prepared to once again make a final judgment on the matter. Given the history of the case, this would not, in and of itself, assure a resolution, and is not, therefore, deemed either feasible or of value to Theresa Schiavo without prior agreement." -- end of quote.

Wolfson is saying that if the parties (Mikey vs. Schindlers) do not agree ahead on what decision would be taken based on the results of swallow tests, then there is no point in court's ordering the tests. Wolfson knows damn well that Mikey Schiavo would NEVER agree on the tests, so Wolfson is recommending to court not to order the test. As he says - there would be NO VALUE TO TERRI.

Well, well, well, Professor! How about this value: If tests proved that Terri could swallow, then they would not have been allowed to kill her, right? How is this for VALUE!

Now, if this is not a neglect of Guardian duties, then what is?

This is only one sample of that nonsense the Professor wrote. He keeps repeating she is in vegetative state, she had a cardiac arrest, an on and on. None of these are for certain and he certainly has no expertise to make these determinations. With guardians like Wolfson, who needs enemies?

subpoenas, it was not a special interest case? It was because they had
been given evidence that the state courts had broken several laws and that
there needed to be an investigation. Our Legislative branch has equal
power with the executive and judiciary branches of our government. Our
Judicial Ethics committee in Congress has the DUTY to investigate
wrongdoing within the Judiciary. Congress was performing their
constitutional duty in an attempt to force the Florida Sixth Circuit
Judge, George Greer, to obey the law. He refused! When the state courts
refused to honor the subpoenas, Congress passed a law for the federal
courts to look at the case from the beginning and make a proper ruling.
Instead of examining the entire case, and finding the tainted rulings, and
the broken laws that would cost this woman her life, the federal courts
refused to look at anything. This case was over fifteen years long. There
was no reason for the Federal Courts to refuse to investigate their own.
In fact, it was their duty to do just that.

rehabilitation for his wife? Did you know that photos and videos of her
interacting with her family and Michael were shown during the malpractice
suit, to prove that she was alert and able to improve? Did you know that
almost immediately after the money was deposited, Terri's husband tried to
have her die by denying treatment for the same infection that killed the
Pope? By posting a DNR order. By forbidding ANY therapy or rehabilitation. Read the court records, you reckless Birkenstock whimps. AFRAID TO LOOK? You could be NEXT~! Can anyone explain why the paramedics say that they found Terri Schiavo lying "faced down" halfway out of the bathroom. (I have read all the original documents which are posted on the internet).

If you found your young healthy wife/husband faced down and unresponsive after hearing her/him hit the floor with a "thud", would you (knowing CPR but never using it on her) leave her/him there faced down, tick, tick, tick, go upstairs and get her brother tick,tick,tick,(call her dad, not call 911) and wait, tick, tick, tick, with Terri still lying faced down half out of the bathroom, for the paramedics to find her that way?

If you didn't know what caused her to fall wouldn't you roll her over and look at her face, clear her airway etc?

My limited understanding is that the brain can go 4 minutes without oxygen without permanent damage, 9 minutes and you are close to death or dead.

MS heard the thud and got to Terri within the time it takes to run from the bedroom to the bathroom in a small apartment, so presumably he could have prevented most of the anoxia by administering CPR. Yet he did not. He did not even roll her over to look at her face, clear her airway or try to talk to her.

Why? The man is a raged engaged walking killing machine with power that scares the heck out of me.It should scare you too. You should be asking plenty of questions!

Today is day 17 since he had Terri cremated. He is court ordered to tell her parents were her remains, are, he has not done it YET. Where is that contempt of court charge or that warrant to arrest him?

Dr. Hamilton, Orthopedic Surgeon, consults Terri a short time after her collapse, on February 25, 1990

While Terri was a patient at Northside Hospital, unbeknownst to Terri’s family, and according to the Northside Hospital discharge summary, Dr. Hamilton, an Orthopedic Surgeon, consulted Terri on May 6, 1990. This was just two months after Terri collapsed (February 25, 1990) and just three days before Terri was discharged from Northside Hospital.

Michael Schiavo, acting as Terri’s guardian and in control of what medical information was revealed, and also any medical decisions regarding Terri’s treatment, did not report this information to anyone in Terri’s family. Therefore, Terri’s family did not have any knowledge that Dr. Hamilton consulted Terri or what was disclosed as a result of Dr. Hamilton’s examination of Terri.

It was only a year later, on March 5, 1991, after Terri was demonstrating painful reactions to physical therapy treatment, that the Mediplex therapist director ordered Terri to have a bone scan.

This bone scan taken of Terri on March 5, 1991, revealed a healed broken right femur bone and healed bone fractures in Terri’s ribs, pelvis, spine and ankle. The injuries more than likely occurred at the time of Terri collapse. The radiologist (Dr. Walker) concluded that "Terri has a history of trauma" and presumed "that the other multiple areas of abnormal activity also relate to previous trauma."

It wasn’t until November 2002 that Terri’s family discovered this information regarding the multiple fractures found throughout her body.

Michael Schiavo never disclosed that Terri had a bone scan image taken just a year after her collapse to anyone in Terri’s family and, as mentioned, never disclosed that Terri was consulted by an Orthopedic Surgeon.

At that instant a clear, distinctly independent and slightly stern voice said to me, Be careful what you think. You are more powerful than you realize." This thought was after Mr. Felos believed he could control an airplane telepathically! Felos today: "She looked beautiful . . . In all the years I've seen Mrs. Schiavo, I've never seen such a look of peace and beauty upon her." Look at the The Hospice Board Member,George Felos and Michael Schivao's attorney own words from his book. George Felos' book, "Litigation as Spiritual Practice" (Blue Dolphin Publishing, 2002) contains the following quotes. About the Jews, George Felos wrote, "The Jewish people, long ago in their collective consciousness, agreed to play the role of the lamb whose slaughter was necessary to shock humanity into a new moral consciousness. Their sacrifice saved humanity at the brink of extinction and propelled us into a new age." (pg 240) Felos further wrote, "If our minds can conceive of an uplifting Holocaust, can it be so diffucult to look another way at the slights and injuries and abuses we perceive were inflicted upon us?" (pg 240) Describing the period he was separated from his ex-wife, "that weekend I experienced rage. Savage, unadulterated, and murderous rage." (pg 6) Felos wrote about his ex-wife, "To her, I seemed unattractive, sexually unexciting, balding, boring, and just not enough fun to be with....she didn't need me anymore. For her, marriage to me inflicted a fate worse than death. She admitted that for the past year or so she had wished for my death, and whenever I flew hoped the plane would crash." (pg 7) About his anger towards his ex-wife, "I was on fire, fueled by thoughts of bludgeoning and tearing her apart." (pg 23) Describing the period he was recuperating from his divorce, "it consisted mostly of dreams of being tormented in some inferno." (pg 27) "Mrs Browning, do you want to die? Do you want to die? - I nearly shouted as I continued to peer into her pools of strikingly beautiful but incognizant blue. It felt so eerie." (pg 63) "Whatever your opinion about tube feeding, the hard fact was it now stood between Mrs. Browning and her death." (pg 64) About Mrs. Estelle Browning "...I carried with me the resolute determination to sever the artificial cord that bound Estelle Browning to this earthly realm. Her agonized cry for release ran though my mind over and over again, and I felt our SPIRITUAL BOND." (pg 76) While on a plane trip, Felos thought "I wonder what it would be like to die right now?" (pg 181) Felos felt that God told him, "You are more powerful than you realize." (pg 182) About the Estelle Browning case, "I still got a kick that evening seeing myself on the TV news, notwithstanding my frequently displayed countenance in the media of late." "If I had to urinate, I didn't wait until the next commercial, I immediately got up and went. On the first urge to defecate, I left for the bathroom rather than making one more phone call." (pg 292) "I can truly say my wife was enamored with me. I suppose power and success really are potent aphrodisiacs-as my spouse had made particularly evident our previous night at the Governor's Inn. " (pg 246) This is the kind of person the Florida Supreme Court sided with when determining that Michael Schiavo had the "right" to kill Terri by starvation, over the pleas of Terri's parents, who have agreed to accept all financial responsibility for her future care if only their daughter were returned to them. ********************************************* I read the actual court records, I read the pleadings. I researched the Expert death advocates agenda and what they stand for. I watched Terri's video's and saw her react to the bad taste of the vinegar swab. She reacted just like you would if somebody stuck vinegar in your mouth. These are videos Judge Greer refused to look at. Ask the Schinders. Look at the doctor that made that diagnosis and what he thinks about Constitutional Rights of American's. The dotors that disagreed with his diagnosis were not Judge Greer's choice to make his decision on "Right o KIll" Terri. Dr. Cranford examined Terri on one occasion, for approximately 45 minutes Dr. Cranford struck Terri very hard on the forehead between her eyes. Terri recoiled and moaned, seemingly in pain. In his court testimony, Cranford dismissed the reaction and moan as a “reflex.” In published articles, including a 1997 op-ed in the Minneapolis–St. Paul Star Tribune, he has advocated the starvation of Alzheimer’s patients. He has described PVS patients as indistinguishable from other forms of animal life. *He has said that PVS patients and others with brain impairment lack personhood and should have no constitutional rights." Perusing the case literature and articles surrounding the “right to die” and PVS, one will see Dr. Cranford’s name surface again and again. In almost every case, he is the one claiming PVS, and advocating the cessation of nutrition and hydration. Now ask yourself: Do you believe THEM?
