Attention Illinois! Stop The ACLU Protest This Weekend

Attn. Illinois citizens:: On April 9th, the ACLU will meet in Champaign to perpetuate their left wing extreme radicalism. We need as many people to come out and counter the ACLU's agenda as we can get. The conference runs from 9-2:15 with an overtime session from 2:15- 3 PM. We would like everyone to be there by 9 AM and if possible, stay until 2 PM. There will be freedom to take bathroom and lunch breaks but they should be brief.

The itinerary will be listed as we get everything organized, though it will be limited. We will hand out flyers to passersby to let them know what the ACLU stands for. We will be peaceful at all times as we want to give this cause a good name. We will not interfere with those attending the ACLU conference, though we will try to engage them in discussion, if possible.

We will provide a limited number of signs to carry as we provide public awareness of the ACLU agenda. You may feel free to bring and create your own signs but if you do, we strongly ask they be ACLU related. While holding signs up supporting heterosexual marriage and against abortion are ones we identify with, we ask that such not be brought to the rally unless there is an ACLU reference or web link to the sign. In other words, all signs should be ACLU related.

You people are idiots living some of weird fantasy if you think the ACLU is promoting communism. Do you know that the ACLU is one of the strongest and most effective defenders of religious freedom in this country? Yes, they also defend scumbags, but they do so on princible simply because they believe in defending the US Constitution. As a strong libertarian and life-long conservative, I admire their defense of the Constitution against the abomination of the so-called Patriot Act. Take a look at a few of cases ACLU has spent money and effort on. They have done more to keep God in our Society than most of you freaks ever will.

In Richmond, Virginia, the ACLU defended the right of the Cornerstone Baptist Church to hold babtisms in Falmouth Waterside Park, a public park.

Three times they have gone to bat for Jerry Falwell
Falwell. They sued the City of Lynchburg to overturn a city ordinance limiting the amount of property Falwell's church could own within the city limits. They also defended Falwell in a case that overturned the state of Virginia's constitutional provision banning churches from incorporating. They also supported Falwell when the local school district denied them access to school facilities to show a series of anti-abortion films.

They successfully defeated efforts by the Utica Community School District in Utica MI to prevent a student from including a passage from the Bible next to her picture in the school yearbook.

The ACLU has also filed briefs supporting the right of Rush Limbaugh to keep his medical records private.

If you want to be a useful idiot for the ACLU then by all means, leave the blinders on and have at it.

Otherwise take em off and have a look around. There are at least 100 things the ACLU has done to undermine our Constitution and society for every one of those good things you mentioned.
