Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.
I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.
I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.
I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.
PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.
HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.

Did Rush say who initiated this bill? Was it in the makings before she was killed - was that the reason to rush her killing? Seems strange this bill was just past that quick - less than one month after Terri's killing. Perhaps to quiet things down - take Terri's killing out of the news, pass the bill and go on w/life hoping to be re-elected - after thinking passing this bill will cover their sins.

What did they identify as the "important" issues? Was the new DVD legislation mentioned?
If anything will get the Republicans attention it is a massive receipt of cut up memberships. Cut up memberships indicate loss of support and NO $$$!! Gives them a big problem and only ONE way to fix it!!
They've got a BIG problem Canadian Outrage and no way I know of to fix it other than elect Delay as President. I'm only one person, but I will not be forgetting Terri anytime soon. I call,e-mail and boycott Florida. Just can't understand how anyone could support Jeb after Terri and after seeing how the state is ruled by Judges, disqualified judges at that. They pay police to arrest children trying to take a dying disabled woman a drink of water. They search parents visiting a disabled, dying daughter. They are having child killings at least weekly, their DCFS is in shambles, etc. This is Florida, but it will be the nation if we don't put a stop to it.

You presume way too much. Anyone here on FR is free to make his/her own decision about when/if there is another more pressing issue that demands attention. Always have been.
As you are. If you are 'sick of this', you are not asked to be here. There are plenty of other conservative issues that need your attention, and that is, after all, what FR is all about. Try the bang list for 2nd amendment needs, or land rights, always under assault, or the current judicial or immigration issues.
I'd no more desire to 'get over' this injustice than I would any other that I considered worthy of my attention, my action, my devotion through the years that I have been here.
So go find your alternate issue and pursue it while we do what we see we need to do here. Truly, to each his own . . . and live and let live. Ouch.

MESSAGE FROM KEN MULLINAX ABOUT HIS AUNT MAE MAGOUIRK
Guys:
WE NOW HAVE A NEW HURDLE AND WE MUST INSURE THAT Dr. Robert Stout, (the doctor who was the proponent of placing Mae Magouirk in Hospice-LaGrange, Ga. and not ensuring that she receive a feeding tube/IV fluids since she was unable to feed herself WITHOUT HER BEING TERMINAL, comatose or vegetative and who ignored the provisions of Mae's Living Will)stay away from her when she returns to Georgia!
Remember, the 3-doctor panel evaluated my Aunt Mae (AFTER Dr. Stout sent her to Hospice to die) and these doctors deemed her fine to receive treatment for her aorta and that she WAS NOT terminal therefore we are not pleased with Dr. Stout's recommendation of diagnosis/prognosis of my Aunt.)
My Aunt may be moved back to Georgia soon (an OK move and Dr. Aqel "my Doctor" has mandated no Hospice and he must approve the hospital and regimen of care) to a hospital near her home and it is our intent that Dr. Robert Stout be in NO WAY ASSOCIATED WITH GIVING medical CARE TO Mae Magouirk.
Please help us contact Dr. Robert Stout (in a respectful manner) and convey to him that THE WORLD IS WATCHING HIM and that because of his past actions, it would best if he (Dr. Robert Stout) stay away from Mae Magouirk's care and thus disassociate himself with her medical care in ANY AND ALL WAYS.
I am afraid Beth Gaddy will try to associate him in my Aunt Mae's medical care BEHIND OUR BACK.
Mae's condition is GREAT...My aunt is well today; sitting up in a chair; eating food; her aortic dissection is now contained; she is neurologically intact yet it will take 2 more weeks of hospital care and another month or two of nursing home care BEFORE she is totally able to be independent and be responsible for herself again (because of ALL the morphine and malnourishment.)
PLEASE HELP US MAKE SURE THIS DOCTOR, ROBERT STOUT, DOES NOT GET HIS HANDS ON HER AGAIN!

Call him today or write him (please be respectful) and leave him as many messages as you feel appropriate (forward this request to the friends of life/to media that supports our cause, call it in to our radio friends and to anyone who will help us) and let Dr. Stout know that the world is watching him and we know what he did in her case and he should stay away from Mae Magouirk!

Yet -- more horrid than bad grammar is rudeness -- rudeness used to put down fellow humans, rude terms spoken to to disenfranchise a group, to mortify others, to mock them, to make them into a sub-human caste. And there you have done it, MT-eer. With that rude phrase "for you folks".
You were responding to one, but you made your rude slander apply to us all. What is the slander? It is not in your noting the obvious grammar errors, but in the mock, the inferred claim that we of whom you speak all are sub-mentals, wild, animalistic, below full humanity, unable to speak correctly, inpaired.
