Our mission in Nam was totally justified. Halting the spread of the false Communist "gospel" was a sacred mission in and of itself, which could have yielded for the Vietnamese people even mere "worldly" benefits, for example: freedom of press, speech, religion, property, and so on.
Karl Marx was wrong. The Viet Cong were wrong. Marxist sympathizers in the U.S. are wrong, and always have been.
They need to apologize for holding to an ideology which killed more in its name since 1917 than ANY OTHER thus far (not letting any of the others off the hook, either...). That's one hell of a "brand management" issue, huh?
Anyone who is a Marxist today is a potential future NKVD officer who wants to take your farm, seize your property and put a bullet in the back of your skull.
No apologies are owed, none.
I'm still waiting for people like Peter to apologize to me for treating me like crap when I came home from fighting that he was probably too cowardly to do.
Piss up a rope, Pete.
I wonder if Yarrow has apologized to the 14 year old girl he molested in 1970.

Peter,Peter,Peter----give it a rest.No one gives a rat's a** what you want and no one,with a brain, ever did.
Is ol' Pete still hitting on underage girls? Perhaps a long-overdue apology is in order.
He just needs to shut up and sing. Guess all the atrocities that were committed by the Vietnamese on the Americans don't need an apology.
Sounds like Ole' Peter still likes to puff the magic dragon.
Peter, let me tell you I am sorry we raped, pillaged and did things reminiscent of Genghis Kahn...even though my President said these things didn't go on, I can tell you when I heard Nixon in 1968 he was lying....
Is this the turd that appoligzed to Japan for not being better prepared at Pearl Harbor? Has a familiar smell, doesn't he?
I always get 'em mixed up - was it Yarrow or the other guy in this group who was caught in a motel with a fourteen year old boy, a al MJ?..........
Where's his opus?
Absolutely, the DemocRATS should apologize for not conducting the bombings we conducted against Hanoi during Christmas 1972 back in 1965.
To Peter Yarrow:
Dear Peter:
I am a Viet Nam Vet and I would like to apologize to North Viet Nam. I can't speak for the rest of my vet brothers, but I want to say I am sorry.
I am sorry we had our hands tied by congress and the main stream media, preventing us from kicking your asses back to the stone age.
