Chavez contrasts the non-criminal Terri Schiavo with murderer Jose Medellin, and finds that Medellin was givenalot more consideration for his "plight" by the Supreme Court than Ms. Chiavo. The question remains why? Chavez feels that many people, including judges, no longer consider her fully human. What a shame and a moral disgrace!

BTW, where are all the Women Support Organizations, like NOW?

Why of course, a murderer must get a trial by jury with the best attorney available arguing as vehemently as he can against the conviction and execution of the creep.

But Terri? Wink, wink, wink.

This is my prayer:

Merciful Father in Heaven, we know that you have seen this from the beginning. I know that I cannot divine what purpose this serves, but if this is your will, so be it, and forgive me for not understanding. But if I am right, and this is decidedly not your will, then please grant that the people who are complicit in this atrocity be granted full measure in return for their evil.

Amen

There was a so called Catholic Theologian on Greta, this guy was saying that Terri should die.

The question I would like to ask him is does Terri have a soul? If her soul is gone where did it go and when did it leave?

Zivasmate, thank you so much for such a great article from Linda Chavez. She is yet ANOTHER leader in voice of reason and clear thought who truly *gets it.* Linda is very bright, fair, ALWAYS well-researched, and very articulate. And she's a real LADY to boot.

This article is a must read.

Hey it is like this. As Christ said when then the vinegar soaked rag was put to his lips. " It is done" at this point if she is brought back it would only be to prolong her misery. Most of her organs are beyond recovery. Let the poor girl pass in peace. I am so sorry that I belong to the race of people that let this happen. AMEN

NOW is a puppet group and follower of the left. If it's a leftist agenda, then they stand mightily on their soap box to spew their platform. What was the last conservative cause you saw the NOW crowd stand up for? Zero, zip, nada. The National Organization for Women, should be standing up for all women's rights, not just selecting the ones that are PC, or left leaning causes.

Think about this...PETA would have you locked up and throw away the key if you withheld food and water from your dog or cat. But it's ok to do it to a defenseless, disabled, HUMAN BEING.

When a person's ventillator is removed, do the courts order all of
the air from the person's room to be removed as well? Thus making
sure that there is absolutely no chance of air getting into their
body, assuring that they will die? Or do they allow the air to
remain around the person and let the person live if they begin to
breathe? In Terri's case, why not allow her to try and take in food
or at least water without the feeding tube? Even if she is unable,
it would be a great comfort for her family to be able to try; and the
final result would still be the same.
